Nearing my thesis developments and trying to secure a solid workflow. I jumped majors after my bachelors in science of sustainable business to Architecture. Am starting my first year of architecture next week, so excited:) my goal is to become an architect and specialise in green/sustainable design buildings to combat climate change and create healthy yet eco friendly environment. My passion is bigger than the ocean whilst my commitment is deeper than the sea, IM THRILLED!
This was incredibly helpful. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьI love the podcast. I have some critical feedback that may help (because critiques am I right). Take it for what you will. Also, this is my first time listening.
- I think there is a hunger for long-form podcasts. I actively search for architectural discussions and rarely find anything of substance that's longer than maybe 7 or 10 minutes. Look at Joe Rogan style podcasts and how well he has done just by inviting people on and being curious for hours. I could listen to something like that for 8 hours straight during work or while working out or traveling. Longer the better (in my opinion)
- When you fade in between questions, it's cutting out words and can be distracting. It may be less distracting if you simply cut the track and make the spaces shorter without bringing the volume down. Listen to 30x40 Design Workshop's audio and how he cuts it as an example.
- I'm not sure what stage you are in in your architectural career, but you sound relatively new to it (apologies if you are not). I would definitely look at trying to get professors or practicing architects on and discuss important topics. It would help let the listeners know that they are getting in-depth information in the field. (You may already do this, not sure). Video podcasts would be cool. Live sketching of concepts, etc.
Great work though, and you do you if these comments don't sound like your style. Keep it up!
