Jhirna is the new Dhikala | Jim Corbett National Park Best Zone | Jungle Safari | Tiger Sighting

Before visiting the place, while reading the reviews, it was in my 'must visit' place. However, after visiting, I must say to put under 'must avoid' place. This is based upon my visit

Permit cost - what is the purpose of high cost of permit? Where the money goes? Is there any development in the area? I did not see any.

Vehicle cost - for 3 hours, the cost of vehicle is very hign. Compare this against renting the vehicle elsewhere.

No sighting of animals - forget about tiger, except few deers (less than 3) and elephant dung, no other animals were seen. Surprisingly driver was able to identify tiger paw marks from distance while driving the vehicle. How come? Sometimes the drivers will gather at some place, pretend to hear something, but nothing comes out. They wasted almost half and hour like this.

After we came back to resort, checked with atleast 4 other families. None of them has seen the tiger. So what's the crux?

Calculate for yourself - no. of zones in the area, no. of permits issued per day (morning and afternoon shift), amount generated against permit, amount generated against vehicle.

It’s a big scam!

We have visited also Corbet park stay in Jungle lodge. Went safari by jeep n then elephant also

Just a healthy criticism , your camera video is super still when you shoot anything other then Tiger, very disappointing that tiger shots are all shaky , all other video even from running jeep is still but in standing jeep and when tiger approaches you, all videos are shaky even the jeep is still😮

Thanks fr a beautiful video💐🌹❤️👌👏. Mostly, tigers sleep in daytime and hunt at night. Sometimes they amble over to waterholes or Ramganga reservoir for a drink in the cooler evenings. That is why tiger sightings are rare, and only lucky ones are priviledged to have their darshan. 🙏

Tigers are indeed very decent and sophisticated. Despite all the chaos and noise by humans, the tigers maintain their composure and dignity. Amazing creatures.
