At the age of 17 the first time we met I was 13 then didn’t see him again until I was 15 then at the age of 17 I met him again he swept me off my feet and I fell madly in love with him all I wanted was him and I got in a argument with my mom and I moved out and 10 years later I wanted to go back a few times I would we had 3 kids by that time and there was so many different hard feelings between my husband and my mom so we stayed away for a while then went back my dad later passed my kids grew up and have families of there own my mom 82 now and I’m 61 she no longer lives there I’d give any thing to go back anything a lot of happy memories there and I miss them

It's the year 2023 and I still cry everytime over this song. I still drive by my Grandmother's home on trips just to see what it looks like now. I finally bit and went to Gma's house years ago and asked to walk through just like she does and the owners allowed me to. Many changes have been made but there are things that I recognize and makes me smile.

The morning I went off to college for the first time, before anybody else got up, i climbed on the roof of our house and soaked it in, knowing that I might not ever live there again, and that everything would never be the same. I was ready to move on to my own life, but just for a moment I was very sad. That was 45 years ago. I am so glad I took the time to do that, and remember it very fondly.
