Can you do a small sheath for a knife that I have
ОтветитьBravo! Fantastic work, I am now inspired to give sheath-making a try. Thank you for another great video, Sir.
ОтветитьWOW Looks Great. Very well crafted and finished. Are you taking orders? :) I Just now started looking at which knife I can use as my EDC concealed. Thanks for sharing.
Ответитьlooks great but you should basket weave first then do the border stamp it helps cover the ends of the basket weave
ОтветитьThank you! Now, do it in metric
ОтветитьWell done as usual.
ОтветитьHow do you keep such a clean shop in Midland where all the roads are torn up ? And the wind blows half the time. I guess you keep the doors shut.
ОтветитьI think you underestimate your abilities as a leather worker, very fine job in my opinion.
I would proud to have my knife held in such a fine sheath... I myself am NOT a leather worker but your tutorial would be very handy to someone trying to learn....
You did very well. I like your craftsman like attitude where the finished project is good but, the next project could be better because it is just a step on the learning curve. thank you for the detailed list below the video.
ОтветитьThank you learned plenty n will attempt my first sheath foe a knife a buddy made for me, thank you,, now RUN TO JESUS
ОтветитьYou earned yourself a subscriber! Your videos really helped me with making sheaths for my knifes. Even my morakniv companion has a fqncy looking sheath now😅
ОтветитьThis was so awesome 👍
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
The BEST 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
ОтветитьReally excellent work!!
ОтветитьBeautiful work man!
ОтветитьNice work, I enjoyed the narrative much better than mumbling while working.
Ответить@RedBeardOps is that half inch welt, measured from the blade or the 3/32 line?
ОтветитьGot into knife Making and wanted to start making sheaths for them, thanks for this great tutorial.
Too bad I'm broke, though.
Great job , I can only hope to get that good in the amount of time you have spent enjoying the craft 👍
ОтветитьMan I sure liked watching your tutorial. I've made over a dozen or so sheaths and have only been doing leatherwork when I can for about 5 months. I don't have all the tools and stuff you do but it sure is nice watching it done. I'll have to get some of that leather you've got. I've just gotten hobby lobby stuff and it's thin so I'll have to redo my sheaths at some point...but hey it's helped me learn.
ОтветитьGreat video! What did you use in the drill press to punch the holes for stitching?
ОтветитьHay brother, where do you get your makers marks for leather and metal stamps? I see you use some kind of electric engraver, but do you use a actual metal stamper? Just hit me back up on all my questions please, thanks.
ОтветитьLooks great!! Keep it up!
Ответитьyou a good job on that project and video
ОтветитьAwesome!
ОтветитьVery good video, I'm possibly about the same stage with leatherworking in that initially I wanted to be able to make sheaths for my knives, I still picked up some good tips from your work! like your sheath a lot, I will try it for knife I have just finished, Have you tried ritza tiger thread for sewing, really nice, made in Germany I think, keep up the good work..
ОтветитьBeautifully done. Wonderfully explained! Thank you! Well done!
ОтветитьI think that sheath may be worth more than the knives I make. Thank you for the tutorial.
ОтветитьYes, much needed info, good looking build. Thanks
ОтветитьThanks for an excellent video and a beautiful sheath
ОтветитьExcellent easy to follow video.
Thanks for taking the time to film and share.

Thank you great tutorial!
ОтветитьMost impressive video! I learned a lot of useful tips to try out! Thank you! I also subscribed!
ОтветитьGreat job on the sheath, it sure looks like a professional job. Excellent tutorial throughout the entire process and some of the best narration and video ever on you tube. Thankyou...most enjoyable and educational.
ОтветитьNice work man! I learned a lot!
ОтветитьGreat instructional video man! I need to up my leather crafting game..
ОтветитьWhere do you get your leather from
ОтветитьI've been wanting to try my hand at leather since a few knives I've made just don't look right in Kydex. This video helps a lot!
ОтветитьNice! Keep the vids coming! I like seeing the evolution of the sheaths, technique, and tools from the last video.
ОтветитьAnother awesome video thanks for posting. I'm just getting into knife making and have found all of your videos very helpful and have given me the confidence to try this on my own. Keep up the good work! Also really like that you put the links in the description on where to find the products and tools you use!
ОтветитьI have watched your video at least half dozen times. Here's the highlights: clear, concise, easy to follow and most of all the narrative is in cue with the video. My question is do you make sheaths to sell? the one in your video is an exact match to what i need. I just don't have the time or the skill. I have so many other projects going on I can't start another one. But as clean and meticulous as your work is I would like one of your sheaths. If ou have a website I can check out. Thank you.
ОтветитьLove it man. Very descriptive. I've been making knives for about 6 months now, and of course, doing some leather working too. Thanks for the video.
Ответитьgreat video !! the best I've seen
ОтветитьGreat job, dude, excellent tutorial for a newb like me to leather work and sheath making.
ОтветитьDo you ever wet form your sheaths?
ОтветитьThis is the best video I have found for making a sheath. Thank you very much!!
ОтветитьGreat work in the process of making my first knife and sheath
ОтветитьBe proud of your work! Excellent video Sir, I thoroughly enjoyed it!
