Those lines uttered by Girish as to what makes a person happy at the end of the day was an eye opener.

I'm amazed, this film portrays the hollowness of the materialistic life, relating happiness with luxury and most importantly the generalization of beliefs of Indians residing abroad.

The plot is superb and slow which creates a deeper impact of its aim. Kudos to the team❤

There were two gun shots sound.. one in a posh building and one in a regular ( old , middle class types ) building... .
It means both Nayantara and Alka were killed that day..... In the last minute it was shown that Alka's spirit was going out of the car and disappears in the street when ambulance comes after... And it's clear that the maid who was crying , she was Alka's maid . ... Nayantara's financial condition was not good and it was shown in the very first seen where her makeup ( blusher) was about to end. . she doesn't even use the car AC. .. Alka was so impressed with Nayantara that she copied her each word in front of her ex schoolmate ( even her son's name ) ... But when she returns home her husband kills her and Nayantara was also killed by her husband .. Both were killed in early morning... And in the night When Alka's spirit was roaming there, then she sits in Nayantara's car and miss her ... She kept her necklace there , walks out and disappears.. she finally realised that there's no fake life .. she and Nayantara were living a fake life.. she enjoyed the songs but she lied to Nayantara and Nayantara also lied to her about everything... But in the end she faced the reality of life and death and went away from the society .

I watched this when I was in school. Didnt get the story that well then, but, now, watching it now, it's an eye opener. The grass being greener on tje other side...the fact that Konkona's character lost so much and was sort of pining for that lifestyle.
