I take on debt to get credit card rewards but then I actually pay it off.

The trouble is, knowing what Disney is like, why would you still go? They dont care about people who support them, just their wallets. I have no sympathy for Disney but I don't have sympathy for those who put themselves into debt to visit this truly awful company.

I told my GF not to ever expect to go there I’m not paying the price of a car to visit a theme park 💯

I was JUST there in April. The food prices that are 60+ a plate are for the high end dining (cinderella castle etc.)/character meet and greet dining options. Quick service menu is around 15.00 per person. You are also welcome to pack food and drink and bring it into the parks, no need for a hand stamp to leave and eat in the car like other parks.

Won't be surprise if these are the same people to only play the minimum payment on their credit card statement each month.

Disney used to be a fun experience. Not only have the prices increased substantially, but the experience has also gotten worse. Youre basically just waiting out in the sun all day lol.

Honestly it's only a matter of time before someone declares the rock n roller coaster sponsored by Aerosmith to be problematic wrongfully alleging that Steven Tyler refused to let female artists survive. Please note what I said was only getting into their heads I myself am an Aerosmith fan.

We took our daughter and 3 friends to Atlanta because she wanted to see a Panda which they have in the zoo there. Then we went to the Georgia Aquarium, which is spectacular, and spent half a day. After that we went to the Coca-cola museum (so so). The next day we went to the Historical museum in Buckshead which was recommended by hotel staff. Locals are very proud of this museum as they should be, again, spectacular. All aspects of this museum are #1; weapons, ordnance, uniforms and especially Historical accuracy. This trip was 15yrs ago and we all still talk about it. Screw that Disney hype, there's better experiences out there.

Hate to say but it’s usually the wife/moms that push for the vacation. They believe their kids are missing out and push for it.
My last trip there in 2019 was pretty bad. Trash overflowing the cans. One of the bathrooms smelled like a truck stop. Overcrowded. By noon it’s usually a 1.5-2 hour wait to ride anything. And food was expensive and not so great then. So we are probably never going back. Especially with them being woke, hiring pedos and being even more expensive for nothing impressive.
I’d rather rent a cabin in Pigeon Forge again.

Even as a kid I remember being bored out of my mind at Disney. I am really hoping my child doesn't get into it because I just don't want to deal with it.

You realize Disney World lets you bring your own food in the parks right? It’s not like other places where you have to buy the food in the parks. Also, if Disney wants to raise the prices, let them. If people are taking out loans to take their families to an amusement park, that’s their choice.

Why do people even go to theme parks? Renaissance fairs and county fairs are fun and are not corporations.

Why do people still go to Disney land? The usa has beautiful national parks. A lot of seeing nature is practically free. We took ourkids to dinosaur sites, art museums, farms.

What's more insane than the price of food going up is the amount of food still being wasted. I bet if you look at the leftover food on the plates and in the trashcans you can see a lot of food in/on there.

This is exactly what I used to justify the cost of my camping accoutrements, I could spend the same at Disney World for a weekend or have an endless ticket to the actual world where I could potentially see a real mouse.

You can bring food into the parks.

It’s an amusement park. For less money you could go on a real trip to another country and see real places.
