I like the old movies, but here they glamorize a man forcing himself on a woman, and making it all OK. Notice how they skip over any ugliness or how she felt about it, and made it as though it was ultimately acceptable. This is where men get the idea that "no" means "do whatever you want"...that isn't so. No actually means NO.

I just finished this movie !! It was darling, wonderful and I couldn't stop watching it for a second !! 😀😀😀😀 Marie Prevost was wonderful and didn't have any " bronx honk " that I noticed - I also loved Dorothy Christy as the bride that was never going to be, what beautiful eyes !! Evalyn Knapp was fabulous as the real bride - just a great cast !! Why did Marie Prevost have to have such a sad and horrible end in real life ?? ☹️☹️😟😟 She was so cute and talented !! Thanks again for the upload, I am very grateful !! I love these old movies !! I could watch twenty like this !! 💜💜🧡🧡❤️❤️

Earlier on in my fall down the rabbit hole of older movies, I watched a movie very similar to this only the friend had a boyfriend she was constantly ragging on for his love of some particular fat food vs. his overweight condition despite her being quite chunky herself.
Can anyone think of a movie and it's title to fit my description???
