Liposuction Recovery - To Drain or Not to Drain

I have had a lump for 6 months… it doesn’t hurt, it’s just there. It’s hard. They don’t know what it is. I got a couple ultrasounds and they still don’t know what it is but they says they see fluid. They ruled out hernia… I know it’s a lipo lump cause it’s in the area where I got it. But 6 months. It went down a bit. I did messages and it’s just this one side. It’s still there and I want it gone!

It is illegal for a massage therapist to perform that type of massage. Therapist in Florida have been arrested for this.

My mom is doing 360 Lipo. Her surgeon won’t use a drain, but he said that massages after surgery are not a requirement. What do you think about this?

I had no drains no issues

But what if you incisions close up on the 2nd day do I have to get them reopen so the fluid can drain out?

What if the drain is removed too early?

I just had my bbl done with another surgeon who did not use drains. I forgot to ask him why but Im glad you upload these type of videos❤️ your awesome Dr. Miami William !! I’ve gotten 4 massages since surgery consecutively and my results were enchanted and I felt better. I take my oxycodone and hr before surgery to make sure I’m as relaxed as I can be although it’s still uncomfortable. Missed my 5th day hoping 6th day massage still benefits me and my incisions haven’t closed. My surgeon said I could get up to 7 drainage massages re opening incisions if I didn’t Mis understand him.

What not do the no drain procedure on a tummy tuck?

Can you make a video about lymphatic massages, tape method, cavitation and which might be better options after lipo?

I'm team no drain...I love it!!! So many are miserable with the drain and a lot of them have a pocket of fluid after where the drain was removed. I would have chose you whether you used drains or not but I'm so glad that you don't!!!🤗🤗🤗 As always thanks for the informative videos!!
