❤❤ Americans also really fall in love with Cape Town 😍 especially with the 🍷 wine farms 🚜 and polo games available in Paarl, Franshoeok side...🎉🎉
ОтветитьChild care is only affordable in SA because we have a huge populations of women who grew up during Apartheid or are living a life now that is still affected by Apartheid who have no choice but to work for low wages. Also a huge population of other Africans who come here because their own countries are so poverty stricken they have to leave, sometimes leaving their kids behind and not seeing them for years to work for peanuts. Women and children might be revered and held in high regard in some places but many are subjected to awful abuse, malnutrition and so many issues. Men have substance abuse’s issues and are broken. Politicians plunder and the majority suffer. I love my country and there are many brilliant things about SA but honestly the way this woman is living isn’t the reality for the majority…more like pit toilets, hiv and violence.
ОтветитьI wish to move to the mother land too. I don't have alot of money but on this part of your show I must agree we shouldn't have to keep proven ourselves...I'll wait to hear from you.
ОтветитьI dislike to travel to South África, the people are so violence and xenofobia
ОтветитьYour video so true sister stay bless 🙏🏿
ОтветитьI think you need to visit Nelspruit and eswatini
ОтветитьHello,
Happy for you and your family. After reading the 4-Hours Work Week, I am here doing research for when I am ready to visit SA and possibly move there. 👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿
Hi Ashley. I just like to listen how you relate your journey to South Africa. I am 59 and retired and now owning my business.
I realy enjoy your videos. I am following you in all your comments about our beautiful sunny South Africa. Keep it up girl.
Hey! I’m moving to Johannesburg in like a month. Hopefully we could connect! Thank you for all this info!
ОтветитьHi Ashley, seriously considering a move to SA. I want a better quality of life for me, my son a d adult daughter. I will be a retired English teacher when I move from New Jersey and I want a better quality of life for myself snd my son. Its scary, but I am looking forward to the change.
ОтветитьI’m coming to Johannesburg this June to look at some properties, South Africa feel so much like home . Can’t wait till it’s set in stone
ОтветитьI'm definitely thinking of moving to Africa someday ❤
ОтветитьThank you Ashley for sharing. I am making a five year plan to move out the US.
ОтветитьAre you really covered that pros and cons. I'm considering moving abroad upon retirement I definitely couldn't use this video as an example for information.
ОтветитьHow is crime?
ОтветитьI'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
ОтветитьYea I’m not visiting a country with the highest rape rate in the world. Nor would I move there. If you are happy I’m very glad for you.
ОтветитьYou look South African so I’m sure that helps a lot.
ОтветитьThinking about moving to Cape town with my husband and kids (1) and (7) Currently a real estate agent in the SF Bay Area working on transition to an online real estate coaching business. Any advice on how to make the move sooner than later?
ОтветитьZzzzzz
ОтветитьWow that clicking was so perfect. Great blog Ash
ОтветитьI am visiting an amazing, special woman in JoBurg in less than 2 weeks and will be spending a few weeks at 🇿🇦 . Really appreciate all of your insights. If all goes how I hope, we will end up being a pretty dynamic couple when it comes to living situations; we may live for a time in 🇿🇦 , we may live for a time in 🇺🇸 , maybe elsewhere, maybe not...... I'm so excited to crash-land into the world of 🇿🇦 . It's cool that you've made a business out of informing and assisting expats. I will be checking out your links, and there's even a real possibility I might have to hit you up in the future if a huge life change such as that comes up in the cards. 😆
ОтветитьVery good video. Thank you for sharing. I watch your video's from Canada 🇨🇦 🙏🏾👍🏾
ОтветитьGreat Video! How are the jobs there for Americans? Do they pay well enough to live comfortably or Do you need to have your own business to thrive or have an online remote job from the US?
ОтветитьMaybe speak to your house helper? She can probably teach you a language.
ОтветитьMy family and I will visit first
ОтветитьPlease put chapters 😢
ОтветитьYou are so blessed to be in the motherland.
ОтветитьThis is making me sooooooo happy right now
ОтветитьIs south Africa atheist friendly?
ОтветитьWho cares about antepreneurs and investors bs.... We are normal ppl....
Ответитьu the one of strong wamen ever see wishing u the best and wllcme home my sister
Ответитьescaping your rise in cost of living to come f$&^ up ours and that's not fair
ОтветитьIs $75,000 saved enough to move out there if you already have a passport and a visa ? Or should one save more?
ОтветитьIn America today at Walmart I paid 5 dollars for two dozen of eggs, so really 2.50 for a dozen, definitely not 8 dollars, at least I can speak for the South, I'm not sure on East and West Coast is more expensive
ОтветитьYes I’m
Definitely looking to move to South Africa. I’m trying to plan a trip to come
Visit first
Im "mixed race" 21, and still living with a parent, i want to live in africa more than words can explain
ОтветитьGotta give it to you. I don’t think I agree with you politically but you got up and moved for your beliefs.I’m on the other side completely but props for that.
ОтветитьYou are doing well to plug your fellow Americans that South Africa is a lifestyle plug. Its not perfect, but its better than most places. For food and grocery plugs, try out Lyttleton farmers market in Centurion. Cheaper than city food, worth the drive if you live in JHB.
ОтветитьVery helpful. Thank you.
ОтветитьDo you have any advice for someone looking to move to Cape Town? Can expats own land/property?
ОтветитьMan it's the end of 2023 and I definitely definitely would love to visit one probably will be my first ever trip thank u for the information and yes ur energy is Pro Pro❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьI honestly do not believe that there are any pros to living on the continent of Africa or anywhere in the Americas. Most of Asia the only countries I would live in would be Australia where I am from or New Zealand or Tahiti...
ОтветитьI disagree with the first 3 things that made you want to leave America. I can argue and quickly dismantle so many things you just said. However, I want to leave this country because of the opposite. Would some from El Salvador like me living in the USA be able to assimilate oneself? I need to visit first to see if I would be able to love living there. Again, I am not dissing you. Its okay to disagree . I am just done and may want to move.
ОтветитьAmazing thing about languages in South Africa, is that there are literally millions of people that are multi lingual. Even young kids can speak multiple languages. I would say that most people in South Africa can speak at least 3 or more languages (maybe even more than 3).
ОтветитьSawubona Ashley unjani namhlanje (isiZulu) Hi Ashley how are you today, How does it feel when you walk around in South Africa and the majority of people you meet look just like you(black).
