Tokaido: Jason Wishnov, J. August Richards, and Chris Kluwe join Wil Wheaton on TableTop S03E01

I love this game. The movement and turn order system is unique and adds a surprisingly deep layer of strategy to a game that's about relaxing on a vacation.

Came back to this episode after watching Floor is Lava, it annoyed me so much where I'd Jason from the Karaoke Crew

I suspect that Wil doesn't really mind what happened as much as he lets on - he main purpose was to produce an interesting video rather than just winning, but I found it fairly triggering. Probably everyone has experienced being ganged up on as a child, but some of us had it happen a lot and were fairly traumatized by it. I didn't find it to be very funny.

Please Wil, bring back tabletop. Just bury the hatchet and do it for us. Game the Game is not the same. It's filled with people not knowing the rules, and no famous people that you want to watch the episode to see. Plus the jokes are terrible.

For those who play tokaido. Food bonus is the worst one, so so not worth the money for 3 point

If I have to be honest, there have been a couple areas where Wil has not played very smartly.

He could have jumped way ahead to the farm on the first day to get some money. And he could have done the farm on the last day instead of going to the last traveler. Because he would have not been screwed at not getting any food on the last day.

Also, Wil could have got that four Point Ocean card on the last day with that travel card. Because in game rules if you draw a travel card that contains a painting you completed, you can go for drawing a painting card that you have not finished yet

This was such a good episode. The energy between everyone just stabbing Wil over and over was hilarious like a bunch of best friends hanging out. So fun to watch

When people gang up games like this become no fun. Competitiveness is great when all are in on it against each other, or equal teams are formed

We need a tabletop All Stars mini series where they bring back a bunch of the table top winners and fan favorites.

I remember subscribing to Geek and Sundry for tabletop and unsubscribing because it didn't come back. Now I'm rewatching almost all of tabletop for time in the pandemic so I didn't go insane.
