OMG. I needed these guys to come to my house when we were cleaning it out. My husband was a weird electronic junk collector. But no one nearby wanted any of it. 😢 We ended up sending most of it to the electronic recycling place. I was so sad, I would have loved giving it to collectors instead.

I was in Akihabra in 2001 and I was blown away with how far advanced Japan was in front of the west. It blew my mind.

Also why is there so much New Old Stock stuff in Japan? Like, unopened Gameboy cartridges? Unopened N64 consoles? I mean i couldn't imagine seeing that in some random tech-thriftshop in the West as if it was no big deal
