Would this apply if you bought the gamepass during the event? I played frost invasion but I was not able to beat it so I bought the gamepass in 2021.

if this does happen, it would be a shame since i had commando on my old acc, meaning i did earn it, but wont get the og effect.. still a good idea for it though and should be added for those who still got it

If they were to implement auras for OG players I think they should make the character look a bit glitchy. Subtle effects so it doesn't visually interfere with anything.

I have a bigger issue, all of those towers are locked behind a paywall, and every player who is new and doesn't want to pay just won't get them, why won't they instead reintroduce those events back and reworked. I would love to play hexscape event in 2028 and get the harvester I missed.

Towers shouldn't be gate kept. Towers are a main part of the game and keeping that to a select few will lead to neglect of the tower

Why these people wanting to flex with old towers? I personally am not against it. Newer players should be able to enjoy towers like commando. Just gatekeep old skins tbh 😮‍💨

All the badges obtained should have a skin to their respective event towers (gladiator for sword master, sledger for Frost Spirit, commando for Raider, frost blaster for krampus etc etc)

eventhough im not a gatekeeper i still lowkey wish og skins come true, i mostly stay in private server so there is no point for me to flex my og's role

i just want something to make me feel proud of myself and something that make me feel worth for playing like an trophy

I hate games with gatekept content... to my it just gives me that sick feeling of missing out, when I never had a chance to get it (because I joined tds during the end of eclipse and got so salty from missing out I left TDS till hexscape...). Not saying that these "OGs" don't have the right to whine and cry about making exclusive towers accessible to all... I just kinda hate the fact that I have to open my wallet to get a mediocre tower from 6 years ago that I will never use in a game, because it gets outclassed by other towers. (I am a Asperger syndrome, with a completionist mindset, so I was way saltier than your average 14 year old.)

I will be very honest, the 3 only legit tower I have is toxic gunner, harvester, and hallow punk. I bought every other tower but I am missing archer, frost blaster, cryo, elf camp and, swarmer

I would love tds to go back to Post MEGA update version of tds. HIDDEN WAVE and the John tower was the hype.

Ngl the only reason I would love to see those OG skins it's because at least in my mind it will look cool, odc for bragging rights I just want a cool skin

I wouldn’t mind auras as long as you can disable it. I don’t want any forced aura on my towers…

As for dedicated og skins? I wouldn’t fw that tbh… Not a fan of gatekeeping.
