Oh Karen this is so beautiful. Have never seen how to do this but LOVE the effect. Thank you!
ОтветитьI love this! I will be following along painting, however, I will be making the mushrooms a tad bigger, in a fantasy painting. THANK YOU!!! I've only heard of bokeh recently and tried (and failed - through my own fault) it only once. Soooo with this idea in mind, I will give it another shot. Your painting is a real encouragement to me. Thanks again.
ОтветитьSo cool. Very fun😊
ОтветитьLovely!
ОтветитьBeautiful. I do hope you post a longer tutorial on this picture. Sunlight in a wood is so evocative. You are such an inspiration
ОтветитьAmezing. I want to learn full real time tutorial video mam please
ОтветитьHi karen…is this lesson on patreon?the full lesson
ОтветитьMy masking fluid always rips my paper to shreds. What am I doing wrong?
Ответитьlovely!
ОтветитьAs I am infamous for saying: I am a hoe for Sennelier. Seriously, my all-time favorite watercolor paint. Not sure if it’s the honey binder, or what, but Sennelier is so vibrant and bright, I just love it! It was my first professional paint that I ever bought (almost two decades ago!). I consistently come back to it! Love to see you paint with it!
ОтветитьAlways love bokeh. Your technique is amazing. Love this! Thanks for sharing ♡
ОтветитьI literally can not wait to try this technique! I adore your mushroom painting!!!
ОтветитьПересматриваю Ваши уроки и не устаю восхищаться!!!Спасибо за творчество!!!
ОтветитьThe imperfect circles look more realistic in a nature setting. The only time I would do perfect circles is when there are actual lght "bulbs" in the background.
Love your work by the way. ❤️
Bokeh is a Japanese word, Bokehishi. Some pastelists make some fantastic effects with this technique, and you've done a superb job here too. Thanks Karen, take care and stay safe.x
ОтветитьLovely effect, I have a special lens just for this bokeh effect and now inspired to paint some of my floral photos
ОтветитьLovely painting. Love the colours.
ОтветитьInspiring tutorial, thanks for sharing this technique.
Will be trying this out. Raise my artwork to another level. 😄
I enjoyed learning something new. Thank you.
Ответить👍👍👍💕💕💕🇩🇰

ОтветитьThank you, Karen!
ОтветитьI have fallen in love with the bokeh and just received my circle stencils!!!! Thanks so much for showing us!
ОтветитьLove the effect, Karen. Thank you for the tutorial and look forward to seeing more Bokeh!
ОтветитьThis technique makes a lovely background and tree painting looks amazing. Great instructional video on Bokeh which I will try. Thanks so much.
ОтветитьI saw this technique last week on line and gave it a go on some Christmas cards which I was pleased with, but watching your video has taught me a little bit more, Thank you ☺
ОтветитьBeautiful 😊thank you
ОтветитьWhere did you get the three part water thing?
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this Karen! I've never heard of this either and your tutorial was so inspirational and given me something new to research and try out, especially as a keen nature photographer. 🧡
ОтветитьWonderful!
ОтветитьThanks for such interesting painting subjects; never used this technique before, I’ll be using it again, really like the effect.
ОтветитьNew subscriber here, I absolutely loved this painting, you made it look so easy. Desperate to try it 😘🥰
Ответитьwow I love this ,thank you
ОтветитьBokeh? White Goo? Oh, White Gouache! Got that. Still,…Bokeh? Nice music. Sometimes I just want to listen to you.
I learned, as a kid, painting wet in wet watercolors.
Great video. Thanks Karen. Can't wait to give this a try. So atmospheric. 😊
ОтветитьMagical, amazing effect. I wondered how this would be possible to paint. Just like a well thought out and composed photo.
ОтветитьI must try this, something new to me! Thanks Karen.
ОтветитьHi,
Can you tell me what is the meaning of Bokeh. I've never heard that word before.
Thank you for taking the time to answer.💛

ОтветитьOne day, you'll achieve what you want.
ОтветитьHi, I'm new here and I like what I see. Bokeh is quite a cheesy photographer's tool. It's refreshing to see it in watercolor, watched this video till the end and thanks for sharing the process. Dropped big like and I can't wait to see more watercolors from you. :)
ОтветитьI love when you give us step by step tutorials and I love to here you talking again I am 15 years old and love water colour and u have inspired me deeply so thank u
ОтветитьA beautiful effect. Thank you for demonstrating this….
ОтветитьI've done this effect in acrylic but hadn't thought of doing it for watercolour. It does make sense, a stiff bristled brush is used for other lifting effects. This is simply more focused. Thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьThank You. Great lesson. Love the cropping idea
ОтветитьThank you! You can also use Finger Painting Sponge Daubers to lift some circles 😉
