It's been 30+ years since FOV sliders were added in the graphics settings for FPS games. Having this added in the accessibility section feels weird, almost like an insult but at the same time I get why someone would think it's more of an accessibility issue. It's just backwards thinking ...

I'm still playing this on SeriesX and I had to stop to try and crunch out Persona 5 before it left GamePass. Then I started up where I left off on Starfield and I noticed some texture pop in micro stutters in Akila and such places that I didn't notice on launch.

Are you guys going to do a re-pass on the Series X/S versions?

I still get a ton of stutters here and there with a 5800X3D and a 3070.

Although I got a few more frames, this is nowhere close to being well optimized. New Atlantis and Akila still show high cpu and gpu usage with stuttering.

No matter the settings. I still get frame drops. After leaving the excavation site on the first planet you’re on, my frames dipped into the 40’s while in the cockpit of the ship.

This was my biggest ick with the game, im so glad they improved it 😅 I'm excited to start playing again.

Is the CPU performance increase present in intel chips? I think it would be, but this is an AMD sponsored game.

Until I see an update that cuts the loading screens in half or more I won't be giving Bethesda my money.

this game is dead on arrival for a LOT of people. It's uninstalled and never coming back.

After watching this, I installed the Beta version on my HP Zenbook 4070. This works beautifully when when switching on DLSS. 100plus FPS and looks gorgeous. HOWEVER.... the Beta version in Steam for the ROG Ally (and yes I checked it's the Beta version) does not have DLSS as an option. Only CAS and FSR. I thought the Steam application for Windows 10/11 pc's was exactly the same as the Steam application Windows 10/11 version for the ROG ALLY. Or is there something I am missing? Can anyone clarify if they have the Beta version installed on a ROG ALLY and if so, does it have DLSS as an option?

I hate the overarching positivity in this video and from people in the comments. The game launched in an abysmal beta state, and Bethesda should be held accountable indefinitely. Why has it become acceptable for companies to release games in such states, why do people still give these companies the benefit of the doubt?

I can imagine there is a line of code in the graphics pipeline which says IF GPU=Nvidia* wait 20ms, but the update probable changed it to wait just 10ms 🙃

Well too bad I'm already done with the game and will probably never play it again. How about they release a finished game to begin with.

it would be great to have a performance mode on xbox because it’s not a good experiencie to explore the galaxy in 30 f frames. No one should ever launch an EXCLUSIVE open world game like this on the platform

I wonder if my i5 12400f/RTX4060 can handle 60fps with DLSS and FG on. I'm used to 30fps on the Series X and even 40fps would be great for me

Sadly the gameplay, characters and story are beyond help

I still cant help but find it strange DF supports this being 30fps on console. People will say 'oh but if u collect 10000 apples and put them in a room, look at the physics'.

Less than 1% are doing this, and when they do the game will slow down to 30fps, which they are playing it at anyway.

When does the patch arrive that fixes the boring gameplay ? And they still have no options to deal with the color blind of us out here,2077 had that fixed, DAY ONE, still Todd cannot be bothered.....

Starfield looks like it lacks love and care.
