I never buy anything on Amazon. The ceo is not nice.
Ответить100% absolutely useful. Even to cook bacon and greasy stinky oily splashy foods outdoors and keep the kitchen clean. Buy a Gas One that use both propane and butane, as propane is more cost efficient per use. Gas One has two models with different BTU ratings, get the higher version. I have 2 each Gas Ones, and gifted one each to my adult kids. Safe and practical application for power outages, camping, outdoor cooking.
ОтветитьHi, i have 2 of these.. one a regular size and the other is a smaller size. Am from far east Asia and these portable stoves are sold cheaply. I think its less than US$20. I prefer these than the regular stoves because of its size, and i live alone and of course, they're portable!
ОтветитьLawd I don't trust myself with Butane scary 😰
ОтветитьI live in my mini van ,I have no choice, really and I get SS ,a small pension and a job driving school bus. I'm now on my second Gas One propane/ butane stove .
ОтветитьHaving just experienced 2 1/2 days without power here in SC due to Helene..I am sooooo happy I had my Gas One stove. Have had it for over 2-3 years..never even tried it out..easiest thing I`ve ever used (with cannister) I can HIGHLY recommend getting one! Think I`m gonna get another in case I need back-up.
ОтветитьMy wife is Chinese, and Chinese people like to use these for hotpot.
ОтветитьWe have a couple of camp stove options. The first one my BF bought is the type that sits on top of a propane (I think) camping bottle. It makes me nervous because it seems like it would fall easy. A couple of Christmases ago he bought me a no-name butane stove, which surprised me because I had been thinking of getting something but hadn't said anything to him. I wish I had because I was really leaning toward a dual fuel stove so I could use either propane or butane bottles. (It seems either one or the other is hard to find, so it seems best to be able to use either.) I am wanting to practice setting up and using a cinder block rocket stove in case for some reason we only have sticks and twigs as fuel options.
ОтветитьFunny how we prep for this but not our soul and eternal life. It is going to get worse and the mark of the beast is coming soon and all this preparation won’t save you. Better repent of your sins and believe in Jesus Christ. He is the only sure thing.
Ответитьat a yard sale, brand new. I thought it was a propane. Had no clue about butane! Havnt had to use it yet, but it’s ready to go!
ОтветитьThese would also be great to give to those people after the hurricanes have destroyed their homes and they are camping because they have no cookstove currently. This would really be helpful to many people.
ОтветитьThank you so much!
ОтветитьI’ve been using one for a couple of years rather than my expensive electric
ОтветитьIMPORTANT: carbon monoxide detector must be used if using indoor & window open, well ventilated. Best to use outdoor.
ОтветитьHow long does one butane can last on full flame?
ОтветитьThank you so much for the detailed instructions! I’ve had a Coleman butane stove that looks identical to yours in my hurricane kit for a couple years. Thankfully I’ve never had to use it. Hurricane Milton came through last night and I fully expected to be out of power. Woke up this morning and was pleasantly surprised. Power is still on. Guess the stove will go back into storage for the next one. I’ll be saving your video!
ОтветитьJust use burner on gas grill/grill
ОтветитьYou hsve a good idea. But, how long can you shelve the Butane? I'll find out, but I hope it's worth it. That said, maybe using the canned gas before it expires, gives you something new to do plus, you have a new skill on hand. Have a fire blanket on hand as well.
ОтветитьI happen to come across this video on Prime Deal Days. I have the tiny camping stoves, but since it's just me I figured I get something I could use without too much fuss. I ordered it and it was $34 but came with 4 cans of butane. Thank you so much for posting your video. I would not have ordered if I hadn't seen it at the time I did. I prep a little at a time. The Lord bless you and yours~
ОтветитьVery well done video. Thanks.
ОтветитьThankyou SO MUCH for this video!🍀🦩 i have never seen your channel before, and this was 🎉 EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED! While waiting to see which way hurricane Milton would go, i pulled out a butane stove that i had gotten from a local thrift store , ( no box or instructions) I'd never bought butane for it, because i didnt know how to use it! Now i do. Thank You. I subscribed💙
Ответить♥️
ОтветитьThanks so much for this great recommendation
ОтветитьHurricane Milton just hit us 3 days ago. I quickly realized just how unprepared we were. I just bought the Gas One stove, such a smart tool to have when there is no electricity. Thank you for teaching me how to use it.

ОтветитьI have been trying to see what I can get for my coffee, I have battery run coffee bean grinder for a pour over.
ОтветитьI found that i can get butane canisters at dollar stores , not only dollar general but small local stores
ОтветитьI once took a Chinese cooking class in the early 90’s and the teacher used one of these to cook with. I went out and bought one immediately so I’ve had it for 30 years. I have used it maybe twice since then but it works great
ОтветитьWhere to store butane canister? 10 month hot weather 92 - 122 degrees. Garage is like dry sauna.
Ответитьcan you use that stove and butane inside the kitchen (set it up on top of electric stove) or does it have to be outside, for ventilation?
ОтветитьGet a Coleman dual fuel stove and save, store a few gallons of non ethanol gas for fuel. Much more efficient and useful.
ОтветитьPurchase a jackery charges in car and solar charger as well can plug a fan and portable plug in stove
ОтветитьIn San Francisco they use those stove's to cook in the coffe shops where they sale the expensive breakfast, after I saw that years ago,I was so proud od my preps
ОтветитьWe use the Lifestraw water bottles for each person
ОтветитьThis is the way my family has cooked for years. I am a pacific islander. Currently reside in Washington state and we still cook this way in the present day. Saves a lot of money. I dislike paying high power bills.😂
ОтветитьGood idea to have one of those. Thanks for the video.
ОтветитьGas...gas..????NO WAY! WE WANT SOMETHING TO USE IN OUR HOME...IN THE HOME.
ОтветитьI also have a small heater that uses butane canisters
ОтветитьCan these butane stoves be used inside..or do they emit carbon monoxide?
ОтветитьI found the butane canisters at GFS in a 4-pk and they had the best price available compared to other stores.
ОтветитьI use my stove when we go camping. I can cook outside or inside our rv. I also use my stove to cook seafood outdoors at home for q quick dinner and don't have to stink up the house. I buy my butane cans at smart and final or sams club.
ОтветитьI mark the cap of the butane canister that is partially used with a dot of paint so I can easily grab this one first.
ОтветитьI bought my stove and a four pack of gas at Sam’s Club.
ОтветитьEvery family should have this! I actually used it once to break the chill while camping. You won't have to see your refrigerator food spoil! You can cook it!
ОтветитьCan’t see the bottom of screen so can’t see a thing that you are doing!
ОтветитьHow long is the cook time for each canister?
ОтветитьWhat is the difference between butane and propane and is one better or more efficient than the other?
ОтветитьTea candles in a cupcake pan also works
ОтветитьIs gas or propane more feasible?
