The case is probably the second cheapest thing you can find aside from the fan.
ОтветитьA case is useful. Keeps a desk from looking cluttered, takes less space (tower case) and reduced chances of accidental electrical shorts and ruined hardware.
Do you need a transparent PC case with pretty colored lights and 10 fans covering every available surface, but no useful front-mounted USB ports or drive bays available for installing aftermarket accessories? No.
If I put my mobo in the pc case it can't turn on..but if i pull out from the case it can boot normally
Ответитьwatching this while i wait for my pc case xD
ОтветитьA case is 69$. Get a case
Ответитьzesty
ОтветитьI use a box, a really sturdy box
ОтветитьI always keep my pc case OPEN. Sometimes I think about using a modular open air case but not have the urge to realize it.
ОтветитьThanks for creating fear around open air cases for no reason. This video demonstrates how LTT has list any and all credibility it once had
ОтветитьI have been Case less for over 3 years and have had no issues what so ever. Temps are great and as I am the only person to live in my flay I have no issues regarding pet hair, or other little fingers touching where they shouldn't be touching. And yes, I would 100% prefer to be single and have a case less PC than to have a wife and kids to put my PC in a suffocation box. My PC is 100% more precious to me than my family.
ОтветитьThermaltake P3 be like..
ОтветитьThis title got my mustache erect & my wallet relaxed, BUT...I need a damn new case dammit dammit.
ОтветитьLaughs in oversized Ziploc bag
Ответитьwhat if i just remove my glaspannel?
ОтветитьThe ending man , the cpu was like a suop and who put cheese on the keyboard? Thats lvl of craziness is too high to even imagine
ОтветитьThe problem is it's getting harder and harder to find cases with 4 or more bays. I have to do my case shopping at the local electronics disposal site.
ОтветитьTest bench or bust boys.
Ответить" if you dont have a case your motherboard prob lays flat" 😅 me with a cube case where the mobo lays flat 🤣 ffs
ОтветитьWhere do i get that t-shirt?
ОтветитьIs it safe to use ur pc without a case on top of the mobo box
Ответитьhow do you turn on your system without a case?
ОтветитьYou guys should do an rgb video. I have an open frame thermaltake core p3 and love it but other than fans, ive run into some rgb things I would like to do but if I did I'd have to get really DIY and creative. Like, I lined the inside of the cable managment area of the case with a 16 foot govee strip light so it'd turn on and off with my room lighting, and I'd like to do more around the motherboard and outlining the tempered floating glass of the case and haven't quite figured out how I'll do that and maintain a claen look. So what would you guys do if you had to get creative ad DIY RGB lighting for a case--and perhaps a whole room to compliment to pc set up?
ОтветитьPOWER BUTTON !
ОтветитьSo it's actually better to have a console standing upright?
ОтветитьIMO it depends how often you are upgrading / changing components. If you can't stop tinkering with your PC then its pretty handy to not have a case, otherwise you're probably better off with one.
ОтветитьSo if i ground my cardboard box and give it airflow it's fine them right?
Ответитьyou don't need a case, period. Skeletal cases prove the point; you can screw the mobo to the underside of your desk if you feel like it. Mobo environment needs ventilation and dust filtration but the higher off the floor (like small form factor) the fewer anti-dust measures you need to take.
ОтветитьI had a really strong urge to dislike the video when I was shown the pizza-laptop situation. I somehow barely managed to fight it back.
ОтветитьI used to reuse old cases a lot and if the temps were high I just leave the side panel off.
ОтветитьI should upgrade my pc airflow
ОтветитьI prefer an open case or a free air motherboard platform, any time... Everybody use "dust" as the absolute reason for a case - but you can airblow the open platform any time in 20 seconds in a balkony - just pull out the 4-5 cables connected on the platform - and you can do it every week (I do it every 6 months). Also, there is no need to buy extra fan coolers, you avoid the exsesive noise - because sooner or later 4 extra fans will sound bad no matter what you do.
ОтветитьI'd love to buy a decent case but they are ALL out of stock. Thanks nerds
ОтветитьI have solution
1) Make a wall mounted PC.
2) Buy leaf blower.
L0L
The case also protects from EMI radiation which can damage the delicate chips on motherboard and GPU.
ОтветитьThe Case controls exactly where the cooling fans direct the air. It does effect performance. Not just looks and protection.
ОтветитьSolution: Overhead platform mount and thread the cables down through a cable case on the wall. Cooling? Wall fan or ceiling fan. 😂
Ответитьyou shoud do a vid for how to test what component of your pc is bad if you dont have parts to swap it out with like a normal home builder might have no spair parts at home they can swap with
ОтветитьI need to tey this because the cheap pc case that i got wont allign the gpu and i cant connect the cable
Ответитьsince when computer cases are waterproof ? thanks for letting us know!
ОтветитьIf you want to keep a system for decades, don't go for a cheap case, psu and motherboard. If you just need a simple system you can cheapout on those components.
Ответитьhaha. watching this after the cardboard contest. yeah... cardboard is now on my mind
Ответитьjust get a cardboard box (clean) and put your pc in there. Protection at it's peak
ОтветитьI ran my PC case less once lol 😂 so funny
ОтветитьA PC case is probably the cheapest part of the ensemble.
ОтветитьI have a case that only arrives in a month is it that bad if I don’t use it for some week’s
ОтветитьDon't forget about the people who used a fish tank filled with mineral oil as a computer case. Sounds good in theory and will work if done correctly but air fans and heat sinks behave much differently when emersed in any kinda thick fluid. And once you do that you can forget about selling it.
ОтветитьBro wtf is the laptop with cheese in it 💀
Ответитьyour proof that a caseless PC will gather dust is to show loads of cased PCs that have loads of dust on the components. 😕
ОтветитьI had a thought of building a wood board mount and put the motherboard on the bottom. Frames to support the components hanging down, with the whole thing supported by inch to 2inch dowels at each corner, high enough to fit one of those quiet, high volume, desk fans underneath, pointed straight up at the center of the motherboard.
Is there any issues with a motherboard being upside-down?
i don used case before and i sometime see poop of some house gecko on my board lolol....having case is just better and more tidy in my eyes
