I've always wondered why California requires higher carbon monoxide on vehicles. After the most recent carb inspection required my timing to be pushed to 10degrees past and increased hydro and mono by about 40%, and then it was high enough to pass. I trird to ask the state, but they only reply with what boils down to "Our system was carefully designed and works".

I’m not too familiar with catalytic converters but I recently received a used hi-flow one and the internal honeycomb looks good on one side and on the other end a little bent but my question is if it’s normal for it to move up and down when I hold it upright on either side? (Nothing falls out by the way it just moves)

Let me get this straight. Cars WITHOUT catalytic converters produce carbon monoxide (CO). Cars WITH catalytic converters produce carbon dioxide (CO2)? Remind me again which of the gases the environmental religion wants to reduce? Asking for a friend.

I going to add a catalytic converter to my vintage car. I plan to run a low zinc oil but add Molybdenum Disulfide to lubricate the flat tappet cam., do you foresee any problems? What is the difference between a cat and a gasoline particulate filter and would this be better? Great info, thanks!

The cat that was cut open in the video was a metal (wire) cat and not a ceramic cat. Also, cats have Rh. That's the one that matter, not Rb.

Anyone spot the obvious controversy? Catalytic Converters produce significant amounts of CO2. The Western Global Government cabal has determined to transition from gas powered vehicles to electric due to their production of CO2. But if cats were removed CO2 production from cars would decrease massively. So should we all remove our Cats? Should manufacturers stop fitting them? Or is CO2 as a source of Global Warming just a hoax, and instead a reason to take people's cars from them?
