Music Industry: Why You SHOULDN'T Sign a 360 Deal!

why would i need a publishing deal if a pro company pays me for song royalties?

Is it possible to play in huge venues/festivals without being signed to a label? I imagine it can be done but getting an audience and growing oneself must be 10x more complicated without a label..

Signing a 360 deal sounds like signing your life away according to this. So what happens when a company invests in an artist and gets less than expected from the artist's revenue? Do they get dropped? Do they still pay the company back with interest?
