Drones have changed the way we view nature - we can see very dangerous things up close in real time without risk to ourselves. I saw someone using a drone to film a small volcanic eruption up close where you were right there. In about 20 years I suspect there will be a cloud of drones around eruptions like that, running into each other, etc.
