Brilliant channel, it's great how you get everything across to the viewer, and explain everything for people to understand easily.
ОтветитьBest video on panning,it actually showed what focus method to use,AI Servo,a lot of tutorial videos skips that. Cant wait to sit outside and watch traffic go by or in Central Park and watch cyclist go by
ОтветитьWhat shutter speed do you recommend for situations where there’s a lot of light?
ОтветитьHello Paul, I will be attending a soap box derby race . What would be a good starting shutter speed ? Also, is there a certain size lens that works best ?
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your video. It's the best advice I've received regarding panning photography. :)
ОтветитьHello Paul, awesome video. Do I use the same settings if I am doing night panning
ОтветитьPaul you are superb
Ответитьi hv question...how long we need to press shutter button because it really confusing
ОтветитьI have my Canon 80D set up to do back button focus. Should I hold that button down and then keep my finger on the shutter button too, ready to take the shots. Or does the focus automatically only work on the shutter button in AI Servo.
ОтветитьNice video! What I love about the panning shot is you don't need a low aperture i.e expensive lens to do it. It's all about the timing of the shot. Dialing in that shutter speed to suit. After 100's of shot's your doing well to get a handful of great shots!
ОтветитьThis is fantastic, super useful, thank you!
ОтветитьThanks again
You're the best 👌
This is just the best channel for photography. Well done
ОтветитьThank you for the terrific video im a fan now I take pictures of basketball mainly I have just followed you.
ОтветитьI am a auto sports photographer. 2 things I would suggest that you didn't talk about. I suggest switching to back button focus, and continous shooting. I shoots with a T7 and a 90d. I find that my best photos usually are captured about the 3rd and 4th photos of a burst.
ОтветитьThe right shutter speed depends on the SPEED, but also on the FOCAL LENGTH and DISTANCE from the object.
ОтветитьI found a mono pole helps me a bit
ОтветитьSuper advice. Thanks very much. Makes me want to grab my camera. What greater compliment!
ОтветитьAlways a nice and helpful teachings to improve our photography skills, can we except something on camera bust mode ?
ОтветитьThanks for this. Question - do you find you need a filter on a sunny day?
ОтветитьGreat video! really helpful
ОтветитьAwesome thanks!
ОтветитьMost helpful
ОтветитьTrouble shooting question: I used the setting recommended in this video. When I play back a video with a pan on my computer the image quality is very low. ( stuttering or a double image appearance ) But playing back on a TV it looks fine. 4K video shot on a Sony a7iii. ANy ideas why?
ОтветитьGreat video as always Paul. I have an issue with my Canon m50 and is when I try to select the middle focus point, I press the icon you did but my camera focus on the screen is a square not and triangle like yours with different dots where i get to choose the middle point. Please advice
ОтветитьISO goes automatic?
ОтветитьCould you tell me the speed used ? Merci
ОтветитьISO (signal amplification /gain) has nothing to do with the amount of light that camera captures (that is, it's not a part of exposure), genius.
ОтветитьThank you for this video sir..im a newbie for photography..is it better if i choose a manual mode while im shoting ang moving motorcycle?
ОтветитьI couldn't figure out how 1/50th wasn't working, shooting a motorcycle but now I understand speed makes a big difference
ОтветитьThank you sir for your tutorials.., starting today I always wait for your new upload :-)
ОтветитьThanks great video, easy to follow. I now feel confident I can go out and try some shots!
Thanks. Mónica
Very Helpful Video ..
ОтветитьGoing to my (only) local track this weekend, I’m pretty excited to get some cool pics of the awesome cars!
ОтветитьHi Paul
I am shooting with a Olympus EM10-2 I quite often get Air Force jets flying past
I have set the camera up but not sure what shutter speed I should use
I have set up for a 1/2000 do I need to go faster if so what do you recommend.
I enjoy your videos.
Hi Paul. Do you use Single shot or Continuous mode when panning?
ОтветитьRight to the point, thanks for sharing!
Ответитьthank you for the lessons.
ОтветитьI like how you teach
ОтветитьThankyou Watching from philippines!
ОтветитьThese are great videos! Can’t wait to try this one out!
ОтветитьI just started watching your videos and everything suddenly makes so much more sense.
Thank you.
Great to watch this. I am just about to go out and try panning.
I anticipate around 500 shots to get what I want !
Hi Paul! Great video! I just have one question: Do you use the burst shoot mode while panning?
ОтветитьIf using a Canon kit lens (18-55mm) are you keeping the lens in manual mode but with the stabilization on? Also, when shooting a group like the cyclists, any tips for quickly using the focus ring to get your subject sharp?
ОтветитьPaul that was very helpful, thanks. I seem to be attracted toward motorsports photography so I'm practicing and learning.
ОтветитьAm thinking 🤔 of getting the Nikon z6 for photography only, street photography and landscapes. Would recommend it?
