I tried what she said but it's impossible to use it as wax coz if it's cool down, than it becomes too hard and can't be take away from the pot class and if we try to use it while being soft, it burns our skin and leaves red marks so better not to fall for this type of video. Sharing from experience. Now I have to throw my glass container since the sugar got stuck in and it's difficult to take it off.😭😭

Unless you're 100% sure the glass jar can handle the ice bath. Just don't. Let it sit out for an hour or so and it should have cooled down enough to touch. It'll be warm, but not scalding. I tried the ice bath with a fresh off the stove batch once and it burst in the ice water and i cut myself trying to clean it up. 🙃

never place an extremely hot container (especially glass!!) into an ice bath, as this can cause it to break and get hot sugar on you! the most extreme example i ever encountered was when i placed a glass mug onto a cold counter and it shattered a fraction of a second after i put it down. please be careful!!!
