Still can’t get over the first time that Vi flipped Xaden off … like I could just imagine his face like Wtf crawled up her tush?!

Sexualizing Xaden in every scene is so childish. Like, we don't need a million pages of how good/sexy/handsome he looks. Yes, I'm old school and I came from romance books that didn't sexualize the men, rather the authors portrayed their men that allows you to imagine and sexualize the characters in ways more than looks.

Edit: also, for me,the plot was extremely predictable. Oh! There’s a dragon who hasn’t bonded in over a century? Well, obviously the weakest cadet will bond with that dragon. Oh! There is the handsome son of an enemy and your dragons are mated? Obviously they’ll fall in love
