Someone explain to me the advantages of this app over serato and laptop. Laptop has a bigger HD, faster processor and quicker to set up. I also don't have to worry about getting a phone call in the middle of my set! I don't think anyone will dance to my ring tone

Why not just use a laptop?

Really curious about djay pro. But with my current rig, 2 1210GRs, an Audio6 sound card, Warm2 mixer, and Kontrol X1MK2, won't be compatible. Looks like I'll have to buy a new mixer. :(

I have an older iPad Pro 12,9" with Lightning connector. Using the Apple USB camera adapter and 12W power adapter and Pioneer DDJ-400 controller this setup works and a fully charged battery gives me a playtime of about 15h which is more than enough. :) But the maximum power still isn't enough to drive everything.

Now I would like to connect a USB stick with music files. I bought a crappy camera adapter from Wish with dual USB ports, but the Pioneer controller won't work with this one. Any ideas for a way to connect USB sticks?

I also wonder how to connect a HDMI out port for driving screens from Djay. Seems like USB-C out and a minidock is required - buy a new iPad Pro?

I managed to connect it smoothly to the XONE 96 with DVS working perfectly and all... There is ONE SINGLE issue that makes absolutely no sense to me... the Equaliser works only POST-FADER... and I have absolutely no idea why. To be clear, I can change the EQ on any channel but only once the channel is live, there is no way to change the EQ on cue...Any idea?

My ddj 200 worked w android but was bad w latency, just waiting on better updates ect . I took the kit back for this main reason . But good review to let others know this actually works
