Alfred ICU is amazing. Hubby just spent a month in Hospital and ALL staff at the Alfred are amazing.

I pray for anyone who has to do the I.C.U. I lost 2 siblings to P.P.H. Also I've lost a bunch of cousins. My cousin just had a lung transplant. I found out that I'm a carrier of P.P.H. My oldest daughter has been diagnosed with it. Live on love. Praying for all of you.

Man, i feel so sorry for the parents to see their kid in that condition. Thank god they are getting the best possible care and treatment.

The memories of my 25 years as an RN in ICU all came flooding back. How I loved my caring for those at their most vulnerable moments at the edge of death. It was an honor and a privilege to be at their side. I worked with the best team. Bless all these wonderful angels.

mio marito e' stato un periodo in terapia intensiva. devo dire che ho incontrato li persone che piu che lavorare erano vicino a noi come parenti. una volta entrato in coma irreversibile con encefalogramma piatto. io e i miei figli lo abbiamo lasciato andare e con noi c erano i medici e infermiere che ci hanno aiutato amorevolmente in questo triste passaggio. grazie.

My son was in brain trauma ICU and was under for a week. We don’t realise just what people who are in medical induced coma /sedated do to them. My son had horrific Hallucinations and 3 years on still has flashbacks.

It bothers me when i see people in trama, and people are smiling

I've spent so much time in hospitals, surgeries, and ICU"s since I was a teen. I'm now 53 and about to go in for an intense heart surgery plus implant of the new leadless duel chamber pacemaker coming onto the market. My current one is dying, so it's a time issue as I cannot have anymore regular pacemakers. But what I wanted to say is THANK YOU. Thank you for seeing me thru so very many serious times. Thank you for keeping me alive and bringing me back more than 1ce. Thank you for letting me be with my sons and getting to watch them grow up. Thank you for being the most astounding people on the planet. And that the words Thank you cannot express the depths of gratitude from us all. There is not a word strong enough so just Thank You❤

Seeing these shows takes me back to my accident in 06. Engaged, young, happy, in love and at the top of my life. Riding ATVs in our weekend riding crew, my fiance and I hit a divet in the gravel road. Going about 50mph we went flying end over front. I landed first around 100ft frm the road, face down, with head dug into the ground. He landed on top of me with chest on back of my head, the atv then landed on top of us and went rolling. Luckily the riding crew noticed we weren't on road and came. We were so deep tht they had to load us into the back of a truck. I was unconscious for 3 days. When I woke, I had an uncontrollable urge to leave the hospital and get to him. I was told he went home. I immediately said, Ive got to go to him NOW. I demanded and no one could stop me. My mom got me to the car and I got a call frm his brother telliny me to not leave bc they were bringing him back to hospital. We thought for minor issues. Waiting in ER to hear what happening was forever. Dr came out and said, we lost him, hes gone. We were confused and stunned. He had a small laceration on his heart. Every time it beat, he wss losing a small amount of blood internally. He was home w my daughter and his brother when he passed out. They couldn't find where he was bleediny frm bc he was filled w so much blood internally. It was so beyond scary. I learned alot from those times. Our lives are never promised. Hug your loved ones tight. Tell them u love them. And nevet take life for granted
