How do you find location for these long ranges

I don't know why but I've never been impressed by the 338 Lapua I know it's designed to be a long range sniper round but I've seen you guys do as good or better with other cartridges. All the same great shooting

What are you two not capable of doing with "BIG BOOM" sticks? The answer would be, almost assuredly, not very much! What is the absolute farthest you have ever wanged an target at? And what was the caliber, powder charge, etc.? Anyhow many thankyous to both of you for your passion that you place into the videos you put out for us commoners around the globe. Cheers to you! Looks like the wind was fighting you pretty hard. I saw many wind speed changes at the target, so I'm guessing that played a large role considering the longer flight time. Hearing the wind noise on camera, it sounded like quite a bit of wind at your position.

I can't wait to start this hobby, but I have to because I went back to school. I love watching these videos, gives me some motivation to finish. I'm considering getting a Browning X-bolt in 300 WM to get started. Some of them come factory with a 1:8 twist. What do you think about that?

Your muzzle brakes work well. I put one on a 338LM and a 300RUM.

If you had a bit of card a 100 yards in front of the muzzle while he shoots, I reckon all those shots would be going through the same hole pretty much

Mark what’s your load data here? I shoot 338 LM, and the ELR matches around me make me stretch it out to 2,500 and 2,800 yards.

I’m sending a 300 grain nosler RDF atop 91 gr of Retumbo. Holding 152 MOA for 2,800. Only hit it once.

This bullet has an identical BC to the 7mm Hornday 190gr ATIP. I shoot my 284win to similar velocity but it requires a 32" barrel. It is amazing to think that I can almost precisely duplicate the 338 lapua's performance with a little 284win.

I tried to replicate your result with the powerful .22 Mag, but I always fall short by about 2800 to 2900 yrds. I think I also need a thicker recoil pad.
