Great video. We took the plunge and moved our business to Dubai this year, and let me tell you, it's been a serious headache. Dealing with the whole process of starting or shifting a business here is way more complicated and annoying compared to what we're used to in the Western countries. You can't just buy an LLC like you can back home; it involves a bunch of confusing paperwork and details. But, even though it's been really frustrating, it's starting to pay off because we don't have to pay any taxes anymore, and Dubai is just an incredible place. Luckily, we stumbled upon a company that helps with setting up businesses; otherwise, I think we'd be stuck trying to figure everything out on our own for ages.

Why would someone get a 2 year investor/partner visa over paying every year for a 1 year visa allocation, which is the cheaper option?

Hi
I am writing to inquire about the types of visas that are available for individuals who want to live and work in Dubai.
To provide some context, I am a UK resident who currently has a home office and is interested in moving to Dubai. I want to be able to work remotely and maintain my home office, but also obtain a residence permit so that I can rent a property and open a bank account in Dubai. I am interested in exploring all of my options, including remote visas, nomad visas, and free zone visas, and I would like to have access to all of the facilities that Dubai has to offer.

At the same time, I want to avoid paying taxes in Dubai, if possible. Could you please provide me with information on the different types of visas that would allow me to do this? Specifically, I am interested in learning about the visa requirements, conditions, and eligibility criteria for each option.

Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to hearing back from you soon.

Best regards,

Hi, Thank you for your content. Very informative.
I am looking to see if Dubai FZ is a good option for my business?
I have a consulting company in Europe. Due to shortage of talent & cost, we want to recruit in South East Asia, working remotely for clients (Covid made this acceptable). But the hassle of setting up a legal entity in multiple countries is too high and I am wondering if a Dubai FZ company be a good option, where we can issue legal contract for Remote hiring e.g. in Sri Lanka or India? Our expected number for 2023 is hiring around 10-15 people through the Dubai FZ company (assuming it is possible). I should also add, in the near-term, we will not be providing services in UAE.
Thanks

Hello OC.. I'm looking to set up a trading company registered in Dubai. No physical business or imports to or through the UAE. The activity will be e-commerce brand selling in the UK/USA. I'm getting a lot of suggestions on IFZA - prices seem comparable and no audit requirements which suits me. So much conflicting information out there ! In your experience is this a good freezone post registration - I want to work with a zone that helps when there are problems / expansions / bank account issues etc. many thanks and excellent info as always !

@offshore citizen - can owner live in another city than the one they have the frezone business in? For example, if I get a Freelance Ajman license, can I still live in Dubai or something? Any thoughts on this? Thanks

Hi Mike, I am Raj. I have a question related to procurement process. If a company inside jebel ali free zone, placing an purchase order to a overseas supplier say the supplier is in China and instruct the supplier to ship the goods to the customer in France directly to avoid freight and handling cost of bringing into jebel ali free zone and to re export to the customer in France, will this process is compliance as per jebel ali free zone regulations or the goods needs to received into jebel ali free zone and then to re export to fulfill customer in France. Need your expert advise. If we can ship directly to customer will save a considerable cost and lead time benefits however I want to know if this process is legal. Thanks.
