I Spent $200 on Retail MTG - Will I Make It Back?

Wish my Walmart stocked more than..... LoTR collector packs. That sold out within 20min of hitting the shelf lol. And they were priced over TCG so idk what is happening.

Unfinity is the biggest waste of money especially retail packs I literally opened hundreds of packs chasing them shock lands only to get one extended art breeding pool

Found some mtg cards at cousins basement, he gave me them all. I had 1350.00$

I remember when Black Hole Sun won best rock song. Then at a high school dance I was dancing with my soon to be girlfriend all night only for her to go to the rest room BHS started playing and in shock I saw the dance floor slow dancing to it. Then some chick grabbed me and started slow dancing with me I was like a deer in headlights. Still to this day it Wired’s me out😄 keep up the great videos Loving them.

I play MTG Arena standard casually and I think Phyrexia is an unfun set to play and play against.

I strangely got way better pulls from ONE draft, then set booster.

That's one of the main reasons I quit playing standard personally, a lot of keeping up with cards and spending all this money on them just to play maybe once every FNM.

I bought the big Phyrexian collector booster box. What a bunch of garbage… low low pulls. I don’t think it even cleared $40.

When it comes to your videos, for me they are always kinda fun to watch. Also when it comes to opening packs it's all just a gamble, for me the big question as a modern player I always ask myself why do I try to open the packs to get the cards I want when there are some powerful cards in previous sets that go for a lot lower in price? Yeah when it comes to the price guide for cards I find it all kinda weird, it could be the same card but at different prices for the sets. Or the card store doesn't buy the cards for the price might drop but they want you to buy the card while it's at a higher price. When it comes to commander yeah card store really push it, I don't play there is nothing on the game that I enjoy. The guys still were like come on got to try it nope peer pressure does not affect me. On the opening packs, I don't know how it happens but prerelease kits I do so well, I sold some cards got a little more than I thought and the card store did card for card kinda deal which got me more which I was happy about so I got two prerelease kits, in one kit got a mondrake a hive that artifact creature a Tyvar Kaya which I was kinda happy about, for the other one pulled one mondrake the rest was eh. So never really know how the pack opening will go. If I was to sell the cards back would I get my money back, that's when the player part and collector part come into play. How many cards actually hold their value after the reprints or how they get graded or by who which card store you sell them to. The price part is kinda weird. Anyways enjoyed the opening of the packs have fun.

I bought a box of SoC, Neon Dynasty & Phyrexia AWBO was my best with 10 mythics, previous had 8 and previous before had 8. Fun pulls but nothing earth shattering.

Few times I've heard you mention over printing. I don't think there is such a thing. Print the crap out of these cards!! They should all be available for everyone to pick up instead of cardboard costing $20+ for 1 card.

Tip: If you’re only looking for value, only buy SET Boosters, not Draft Boosters.
If you’re itching to crack open any packs, lower your expectations as Draft Boosters are meant to just play Draft.
