20+ Basic Sign Language Phrases for Beginners | ASL

Few teams in my company are hiring deaf members. So thought would be great to learn even though I don't have any interactions with those teams currently. Also would be so great if I know how to communicate when/if I meet a deaf person.

I work as a sales person,besides speaking 3 languages am going for a fourth one which is ASL to help this community

I'm learning the basics so I can communicate with a deaf person if I ever come across one, especially if they need assistance.

I don't have asl class but i still want to study asl

I'm learning ASL because I am starting to lose my hearing. I've been putting it off for so long because it's hard to process that you will be disabled pretty soon but also good to know that I can still overcome the fear with communicating by ASL. Baby steps!

You know what's interesting is that most of these signs are similar to Korean grammar structure, so it has been easier for me to speak in Korean while signing in English😆

I’m hard of hearing and I thought it would be very beneficial for me to start learning sign language instead of writing on paper all the time, my parents don’t teach me so I wanted to learn it on my own

The sign say sorry and please and why people pushing you and filing with always keep pushing in there people cannot talk and he's just somebody pushya and don't say sorry how you do that

started s9 of the walking dead and there's this girl who is mute and deaf, so she speaks in sign and i just remembered all of a sudden that i wanted to learn
also louis tomlinson learning sign to interact with his mute fans, yes that too.

Decided to learn ASL for my half brother who having a hard time speaking my dad decided it's better to just teach him asl not force him to speak if he find it hard so wish me luck

im learning asl for 3 reasons:
1: to communicate with deaf people
2: to brag
3: my friends learn this to if we want to talk in private

My grandma taught at a deaf school. I used to know words and phrases when I was young that she taught me. I would like to learn again. Thanks bunches 🙏
