BROOKS HYPERION 2 vs LAUNCH 11 I SHOE BATTLE

Thank you. So much of ShoeTube and the running shoe sicko community is fixated on the hype shoes of the moment. Though I understand you guys have to pay attention to view metrics etc. and take into account what shoes people want to watch videos on, I think some attention to less hype but good shoes is needed.

Enjoyed the video Alex but I don't love the bend test on the shoes. I know you said it's unscientific but I really don't think we're gaining anything from it. Surely the Hyperion is the more responsive shoe? Or am I wrong?

I've been looking for a comparison of these two shoes. Wiithe the new Hyperion 3 going for more stack, feels like the 2 model - my current favourite shoe - is going to be orpahaned. I will get another pair. I disagree sligthly with the review in that I find the H2 good for road tempo runs, I currently do a 10 weekly in it and always run quickly and feel great afterwards. It stikes me as an underated shoe --- but then again we always view the market in terms of our own preferences. Thanks for the review and also the preview of the new Brooks shoes at TRE late last year.

EDIT: The Launch 11 has a Flash v1 midsole with a Flash v2 insert in the forefoot. Sorry for the mistake.
