Seriously, what has she been doing? Hiking in Paldea?!
ОтветитьParadox pokemons???
ОтветитьActually Baxcalibur could be based on a Godzilla variant named Snow Godzilla
ОтветитьLokix is a combination of "Locust" and "Kicks" because the entire Pokemon is less the Tokusatsu genre as a whole and is moreso a representation of the Kamen Rider series. His base design is a call to the classic "Showa Era" Kamen Rider Black RX with even his thorax being representative of the famous belts worn by various "Riders" as the series progressed. His shiny is a reference to Kamen Rider Zero-One, a more modern Rider in the franchise who marked the beginning of the current "Reiwa" Era of the franchise.
The "Rider Kick" is the signature move of the Kamen Rider, where the titular Locust Themed superhero leaps up into the air and aims a low kick at his opponent to devastating effect. Given the Motorcycle theming of the Legendaries, this was meant to be a fun nod to a famous motorcycle-bound piece of Japanese Pop Culture.
His Dark Typing is also a nod to the nature of Kamen Riders always sharing a power source with their evil counterparts or even being the product of their evil counterparts, like the original KR straight up being the product of WWII German Scientists stationed in Japan trying to reestablish dominance.
I’m shocked nobody (as far as I can tell) has mentioned the revenant part of Revaroom
I understand it’s not a ghost but come on it’s practically a haunted engine block
The wild Ed appearing made me LOL😂
Ответить😊😊😊
ОтветитьIs it just me or does on of the tandemaus has pants and the other a shirt if you look very closely.
ОтветитьOk the starters names doesn’t need an explanation especially if you speak Spanish ok because quaxly
ОтветитьArbolavia? What an interesting way of saying Arboliva
ОтветитьI'm sorry does he think Shroodle is a dark type
ОтветитьI just rewatched this, and it occurred to me that the multiple "du-" syllables in Dudunsparse's name may be an allusion to stuttering, which "simpletons" or "dunces" may be associated with doing.
...Which also isn't very nice to point out, but hey.
Arboliva also contains oliva, the Latin word for olive. Keep in mind that most words in Spanish and Portuguese are derived from Latin.
ОтветитьShroodle is normal/poison, not dark 💀
ОтветитьShroodle is not a dark type
ОтветитьI still like the fake leaked name for Chi-yu as Pyranha
ОтветитьWhy can’t you learn something like garten of banban or rainbow friends or the amazing digital circus with Pokémon
ОтветитьWOUDL YOU SAY THAT MABOSSTIFF IS BAD TO ARVEN, I HATE YOUUUUUUU
ОтветитьYou should add the word "Parada" on Meowscarada's namesake. Parada means parade or festival, and masks are typical to be used by festival performers.
ОтветитьGlimora may also based on Glamour.
ОтветитьI don’t think there’s anything more to Baxcalibur aside from Back + Axe + Excalibur
ОтветитьLmao you butchered Arboliva's name
ОтветитьBaxcalibur is actually based in 3 things:
1-Concavenator, a dinosaur found in Spain, famous for its singular hump.
2-Bifaz Excalibur, a prehistoric hand axe found in Spain, getting its name from the legendary sword Excalibur.
3-Godzilla (This is the most obvious one lol)
Just wanted to point out, in addition to 'sire' connecting Clodsire's name with Quagsire's 'sire' also means 'father', so you could call him the Clodfather.
ОтветитьThe nacl part of the nacli line references the chemical formula for salt
ОтветитьArbol + Olivia = Arbolovia?
Ответитьquaquaval is for carnaval
ОтветитьIf it's worth anything, the Japanese name of Palafin "Irukaman" might be a spinoff of the name "Urutoraman" or Ultraman for English speakers. Ultraman is the name of a popular tokusatsu franchise that was created by the special effects director of the original Godzilla. It's second series "Ultraseven" inspired the pokemon franchise with it's capsule monsters Agira, Miclas, and Windom
ОтветитьThe patrick star voice "ITS A GIRAFFE!" 😂😂
ОтветитьYou missed the paradox Pokémon so here is iron moth it is made out of iron and it is a moth
ОтветитьLechonk is my new favorite Pokemon from this gen
ОтветитьRandom fact: Orthoworm is a Bullet Train
ОтветитьDachshund is just stolen from German, Dachs meaning badger because they were bred to hunt them and Hund being dog. Also, as a German, I can confirm that Dachshund‘s chs is pronounced like the chs in packs. Who knows if you‘re gonna read this.
ОтветитьChien (as in Chien Pao or Wo Chien) translates to dog from french, although those two aren't really dogs
ОтветитьWeed cat. Green google or Blue google.
ОтветитьI think dudunsparce is literally a play on redundant meaning unnecessary perhaps to play into the lore of why fans were so desperate for an evolution like dunsparce.
ОтветитьBaxcalibur also mostly likely pulls from the older version of Excalibur being Caliburn, the Latin version of Caledfwlch, the Latin name meaning Steel or in this context can also mean Sharp, and considering all the sharp edges in the design.
Ответитьthe mispronunciations becoming the way they're spelled in the video is mildly hilarious idk
ОтветитьHonestly a society of Finizen is a society of all super heroes. Imagine warring against a country of only Captain America
ОтветитьYou spelled Farigiraf as Firagarif.
Ответить-don is also a suffix for dinosaurs, so it fits Koraidon and Miraidon
