I want to thank you all for keeping America with stocked shelves. We do love and appreciate you. Stay safe and God bless you all. 🙏 ❤
ОтветитьAll truckers should join the Teamsters.
ОтветитьYou need to set your own boundary. The trucking companies will take anything you let them have.
ОтветитьA trucker should write a novel. Call it "MY Struggle"
ОтветитьThis is why I promised my wife to stick with home daily jobs when I got my CDL. No point in making good money if we're not living.
ОтветитьIt's what you make of it, that's what counts.
ОтветитьYup exactly, as a truck driver of 25 years this is a fact,,companies don't care about the driver only the money, especially when it comes to repairs, no repairs =more money for the bosses
ОтветитьStop crying
ОтветитьYou can thank the open boarder scam for last 4 years on driving the rest of Americas wages down.
ОтветитьOTR and about finished. 2 years. Toughest damn job i have ever done. Love the trade hate the industry
ОтветитьIs not a scam.
ОтветитьDid over the road for 5 years straight, bought myself a home for me and my family and got the hell out. Don’t miss that terrible lifestyle one bit. Wouldn’t advise trucking to anyone
ОтветитьYou act like its hard to eat in a vehicle.
ОтветитьIts a scam because they re allowing foreign folks who cant even read English signs to drive these to save money andntheres morenwrecks than ever
Ответить11 hour day on road max or 14 if local
Ответить70? I wish. 110 or so
ОтветитьI’m a driver in Canada. Trucking has its advantages but also has a lot of disadvantages that some don’t realize that come with the job.
Long haulers-
You work all day in a truck, and then you you eat, sleep, shower and poop in public places.
Not your own.
You eat alone
You sleep alone
You drive alone
You don’t get paid to spend 24 hours in a truck yet you stay in there all week or weeks long.
Nah, its a choice..then find a 9 to 5 job. Stop whining and grow some balls
ОтветитьIt’s worse now because of stricter laws and regulations
ОтветитьPsalms 27:1-2 (KJV) The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
I’m pretty sure they have hour limits. So ima assume the “98” hours is them being a passenger
ОтветитьA hard life not all can do it...lifers grind it out...others come in and grind it out until they dont😮
ОтветитьROLL ON, WITHOUT YOU GUYS PEOPLE WOULDN'T GET SUPPLIES THEY NEED SO AGAIN THANK YOU!!!
ОтветитьNeed to be paid by the on duty/driving hours, at a minimum of $25, with like 200-500 a week for being away from home.
Ответить70 hours is the most you can havekn the clock, but you worka lot more securing loads and checking in and out. Doing maintance and fixing stuff.
ОтветитьOh good god STFU already. Shit ain’t hard. If it was hard 400 lbs guys on meth couldn’t do it. A monkey with a helmet can drive a truck
ОтветитьYou're the scam
ОтветитьAnd they keep finding ways to cut our pay to invest in self driving trucks but dispatchers and off will be the first to go with AI
ОтветитьIt’s a lifestyle.
ОтветитьThere’s people that do this job because they have no other option. Then there’s the rare portion of us who love what we do such as myself and my mom.
ОтветитьWho’s doing 70 hours?
ОтветитьYou don't work 70 anymore. So get over yourself
ОтветитьI wouldn't say trucking is a SCAM: HOWEVER, it has been used TO scam potential drivers by recruiters and others who paint UNREALISTIC expectations in the minds of the gullible.
ОтветитьIt’s better than sitting in a warehouse waiting for your lifeless supervisor to degrade you
ОтветитьOh and don’t forget! Real truck drivers don’t wear flip flops! 🩴
Merica!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Waaaaaaaaa. Instead of crying about it on social media, how about look for a career that’s better for you? Think!
ОтветитьThey don't get paid enough as far as I am concerned.
ОтветитьAnd to get treated like crap by your receivers. No Thanks!
ОтветитьFacts
ОтветитьFacts and their families hurt from the lack of attention, and then many still say TRUCKER'S are stupid, uneducated, and nasty, and that may be true for some, not Really speaking from a woman been married for 38 years. O'yell, don't forget the cheating and lying. But forgiveness is EVERYTHING
ОтветитьIs your choice . There's other jobs .
ОтветитьThon don't go OTR. I'm regional, home every night, off weekends and holidays, only work 3-4 days a week, and made $110k last year. There's good money out there if you're willing to do more than bump docks.
ОтветитьI want to thank all the American Truck drivers you the best. God Bless
ОтветитьGet a different job
ОтветитьThis is the most unselfish job out there. Nothing but praise/respect for truckers
ОтветитьResprct to truckers everywhere
ОтветитьIt’s NOT “survival”, it’s a choice. And I’ve seen from two different angles. First, I coached gymnastics and one of the fathers was an over the road truck driver. So, I saw that angle with him for five years. Then, I worked another five years as a freight broker. So, I saw it that way. And, our office was immediately next to a Sam’s Club, and we would invite over drivers that were making deliveries to that Sam’s Club. So, I personally interacted with those drivers and their trucks.
ОтветитьBeen at it 37yrs its not for everyone
ОтветитьYour mindset is wrong. If you want a 9-5 go get one. OTR is a lifestyle. If youre just surviving and not thriving, youre doing ut wrong.
