Bull crap. I took his advice and grow my own lemon tree last year. That dumb thing gets so tall that I couldn’t even reach its top I had to take a dump trailer tree outside. It doesn’t stay short like what his is showing.

Mine took a month to sprout and one died from I think no oxygen so I took the cap off the cup of the other one and it's growing a bit

I did this exact thing. Step by step. Except when the tree sprouted I took it outside and just before it got cold up here in PA I thought I had lemons growing..... NOPE !!!!! green peppers.😂😂😂😂.
But I am gonna do this again.

You can't grow lemons through seed , it will take around 4-5 years even more to grow lemons, so get a grafted plant instead, if the plant is 2-3 feet long already it will bear fruits very soon.

I accidentally left my seeds for over a month in a cupboard and now there’s long roots grown out of it lmao

Recently, I planted 6 grapefruit seeds straight into soil, nothing fancy, just kept them moist, and 5 of them sprouted just fine.
I know it will take many years for potential fruit, but I think it’s worth the wait.
