The first place kinda looks like where Barbarian was filmed
ОтветитьNot sad to me. The industries brought the ppl. The ppl stayed when the industries left. Federal government should raze them all. Pay the people to move. Give farm land to ppl willing to farm it. The big industries are gone for good.
ОтветитьI heard Macon GA is bad too.
ОтветитьWhere are you from? Most of these look pretty tame.
ОтветитьI was homeless on the streets in the Las Vegas ghetto for awhile. It wasn't great.
ОтветитьBy the way they don't get up until NOON in the hardcore ghetto.
ОтветитьYou knew when you were coming into Gary, the sky was lit up,because of all the steel mills, in fact traveling I-80 back in the 70's that whole corridor from Chicago to Pittsburgh, the sky at night had a nice warm glow from all the steel mills.
ОтветитьA lot of nice vehicles though
ОтветитьKensington's low rents have led to a profusion of hip bars, as well as a flourishing brewery scene. The neighborhood's first craft brewer, Philadelphia Brewing Company, is set in a restored 19th-century brewery site. Frankford Avenue is a thriving hub of art galleries and performance spaces. Showcasing quirky parade floats, the Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby and Arts Festival is a popular spring event.
ОтветитьThere are many things to admire about the USA but I can't understand as a non American why so many Americans believe it is the greatest country in the world when you see this almost third world poverty. So many Americans have such a hard life and deserve so much better in the world's richest country. The UK where I live has a lot of problems but I believe it is a fairer society as we have a safety net for people who are unable to work or are unemployed, through state benefits. We also have a free health care system which is not actually free as we pay for it through our taxes. It means treatment is free to all at the point of need and no one has to worry how they pay for it.
Ответитьcache les plus pauvres pour que je ne puisse pas les voir
ОтветитьBring in some migrants. Wait 2 years. Then come back.
ОтветитьTrump wit fix this during his ‘retribution’ presidency.
ОтветитьBALTIMORE WINS AGAIN
ОтветитьWhite people made the Ghettos bro.
ОтветитьThe good news is that from a structural point of view and since all of these ghettos in the United States that have been left to rot and abandoned and that those that are lived in will soon be gone and what will be left within 25 years or 50 at the most will just be ruins probably stone and everything will have rotted back into nature .Everything will be compost I'm not sure where the people will go presumably the welfare system will put them in projects in cities that still are alive .
ОтветитьRegarding the comment you made about people smiling in Montgomery in poverty and that their poverty does not define them I would add but if it does not define them then why can't they take a can of paint to their houses and have pride in their front lawns plants a little garden poor does not necessarily mean derelict some of the poorest people in the world have the nicest houses and the nicest little gardens because they have Pride no pride in these ghettos a no dignity High credit and praise to those who get out and create a better life
ОтветитьWhy do u look at a accident along side, ofthe road.😊

Ответитьselbstregelnde walzen die Dichte des Asphalts zu erhöhen, um ihn widerstandsfähiger gegen Regen und Hagel zu machen. & oder
ОтветитьThings are turning from the damage Ronald Jesus Reagan did. Look at the gains Unions have made this year. All my working substandard life I was fed propaganda by the good old boys about the evils of the Union. Turns out Rich employer don't like to give their money away in the form of wages to the peasants .❤ welcome to Reagansville were ya don't get what ya give.
ОтветитьSelf-righteous people are disgusting. Nick didn't start off in the Infantry because he's a privileged boy. Nick didn't spend the night on the streets for 35 years driving OTR 48 States because he's a privileged Self-righteous un educated American. Welcome to Reagansville USA MoFo 🇺🇸
ОтветитьActaully the home in Detroit look like there were once nice homes at one time. The problem is when home get abandoned for whatever reason and then they go down so fast even if no one messes with the home. In Europe and even in the USA we have million dollar mansions that are just falling apart which is really sad because some are historical buildings built 100's of years ago. The reason they are sitting is because nobody can pay for the upkeep in fixing them or pay the taxes. It sad. When I see home like these in the video I alway wonder about the families who once lived there. I guess Michael Jackson's Neverland is basically overground abandon mess, that no one wants anything to do with. But I was on a road trip in GA and got to this small town with maybe 15 homes. I though they were abandon because they were falling down. The weird thing is they had a little church and when I turn around to go back to hotel all these people came out of the chruch and it was like 4 pm on a Sunday. I felt like I went back in time 50 years. I could not believe anyone was living in those obvious dangerous homes especially with the kids I saw. I mean wood home leaning to the side, front porches with gaint holes, missing steps to the porch, plastic for windows ect. There were no business or anything in the area and I only saw like 4 cars among all these homes. It was really weird.
ОтветитьIts probably not that bad. And i don't see a bunch of bums hanging around!! So what the hell?? Hes just going on outside appearance
ОтветитьThis crap happens every where hes just going by the outside looks!!
ОтветитьAnd I don't see half of the trash that is piled up here!!
ОтветитьDo sn interview on Nassau Bay, Orlando Florida!!! It looks nice on the outside, but it sucks so bad you can't stand it!!!
ОтветитьWell, people want to know which areas to avoid. That's why!
Ответитьyou'd better have a reliable car driving through here. or a rental.
ОтветитьOK. These are now starting to look like bombed out disasters!
ОтветитьFrom ATL northern suburbs, but used to have a drug problem so I’m very familiar with that area being sober thinking back very scary
ОтветитьATL the Bluff
ОтветитьDude....have you ever seen Flint in the Spring time? These seem nice so far.
ОтветитьMy example of run down and poor. I was in Hodgenville KY in 1967. Dirt floors. Open air windows with shutters. Youg kids running around in rags that had been tied together. All of these years I would never consider them as having cloths on. Find the site of the old Rexall Drugs and looks South. That is what I remember. Would be fun to go beck. It was as if I had my "Road to Damascus" moment at age 9.
ОтветитьThose of you that are talking about the cars outside these peoples homes really need to put a sock in it. First of all, you know nothing about these people or their lives. They very well could be leasing those cars. And a more dependable car is needed for them to get back-and-forth to work. Literally nobody wants to drive an old heap that constantly has to be put in the shop. Have some respect and focus on them living as best as they can with what they have. Society is so judgmental of people they know absolutely nothing about. And I myself am judgmental... but only of people that are insensitive and complete idiots. You ALL sound like shameful and privileged brats.
ОтветитьYou NEVER stop anywhere in the hood, not even at stop signs.
ОтветитьAnd I'll bet these slums are found in blue governed areas.
ОтветитьWish I had nothing better to do then drive around filming neighborhoods get a job
ОтветитьThere's an insane difference with a blue light filter on imo
ОтветитьGloomy day + rain + abandoned houses = depressing
ОтветитьDear Mr. Nick Johnson: I'm looking for one of your older videos where you review Gary, Indiana and mention a barber shop there called 'Clippaz' " Where they do it Tight & Right". Can you please help me find that video. Thanks.
ОтветитьI've seen worse ghettos in Grubbs here in Arkansas I've seen some in Chicago, George town in Arkansas some in Augusta here in Arkansas almost like ghost towns
ОтветитьSad.
ОтветитьBad news sells best!!!!!!
ОтветитьAll I see is affordable housing
ОтветитьI used to live in Hamtramck until I was in 2nd grade, which is pretty much a part of Detroit. Right now I live in the close suburbs. Anyways, Detroit wasn’t given justice on how bad some parts really are. I once saw a literal box of concrete with no roof as my dad was driving around. And I was thinking no way someone lived in that. It’s honestly sad that some people have to go through this.
ОтветитьI drove through Camden once on the way to the aquarium and my first thought was “why is every building pretty much burned down?” … also side note… one dollar houses in Gary, Indiana? I’m moving there!
ОтветитьAnyone can drive through these ghettos during the day. Let's see you drive at night.
ОтветитьIs sad in reality
Ответитьmust be nice to look down on places.. usa people move to other places to find jobs when industry fails or moves... in the UK industry has been sold off by the elite and government so no where to look for jobs.. unless you leave the UK
Ответить
