It helps you against wind and hills. I can't be arsed to peddle hard.
ОтветитьI love my e-bike, I got a road-bike and an e-bike, and both are fun but if I cycle to work and home I want an e-bike. Don’t sweat when I arrive and no hard work when I go back home after 12h shift (all uphill)
Can use the road bike
On the weekend.
Your foot position is very wrong for pedaling. Its makes u tired.U have to push to pedal front of your foot.
ОтветитьLOL, in the UK you have to register and get insurance for a bike with a 300w motor? Pathetic, there are hoverboards with more than that... Come on 'health and safety country', you can do better.
ОтветитьJust how fast can the bike get you going from a dead stop at a traffic light? I’ve got one intersection where I’m having to cross six lanes of traffic and then the intersection at the light itself. When trying to cross the intersection on a regular bike I just get to the center of the intersection before the light changes and then I have to wait for the traffic light to change again to get clear of the intersection. Plus I’ve discovered that you tend to get a lot more of blown tires simply because you put a lot more of distance on your bikes. You need to be looking into tire inserts to protect theintegrity of your tires.
Ответить69 yrs old, 1 yr, 2800 miles, 2000 dollars, cadence, hub, Class 3. Maybe the best purchase of my life.
ОтветитьDas E-Bike ist wirklich super. Leichte Handhabung und das Fahren ist toll. Lieferung war auch sehr schnell. Danke...
ОтветитьAt the downhill and soft braking it’s should auto charging.
ОтветитьI have a Halfords ebike, (as well as a Ford KA!!!) and it is great on a warm sunny day. (Like in all of these videos). But like any bike, it is miserable on a cold, dark winter morning when it is pissing down!!!!
ОтветитьF yes they are.
ОтветитьYou think you’re an engineer now? 😂
Stay in your lane little boy
I want to buy an electric bike but i want to know first if it can climb 45 degrees uphill for 10~20minutes without sweating?
ОтветитьE-bikes are for dooshbags with more money than brains, the incredibly unfit/lazy, the immobile/elderly, and thieves.
And BTW....inventing new demand for more electricty isn't "saving" the planet.
Ahhh i remember Ralph allen drive XD glad i no longer have to travel like that anymore!
ОтветитьHey there, fellow e-bike user! I just stumbled upon this video and was truly intrigued by the concept of the Freebeat Morph 2-in-1 e-Bike. The idea of having a bike that can be charged indoors while I work out is truly game-changing. The impressive motor power and torque, along with the 80mm front suspension and puncture-resistant fat tires, promise a smooth and confident ride on any terrain. Additionally, the integration of fitness and technology with the Smart Saddle Detection+ feature is a brilliant way to keep us motivated. I'm definitely excited to support this crowdfunding project and can't wait to see the Freebeat Morph e-Bike in action!
Ответитьone really important thing you didn't mention is that the ebike in this video uses a rear hub motor, it's not as efficient as a mid-drive motor.
ОтветитьEbikes are cool… yeah right.
That cluttered Handlebar would drive me crazy😂
Also take a look at your saddle tilt, no way that is comfortable.
But if you ride your bike as means of transportation and not for fun, its allright. Im just a bike snop😂
I got called out by a pedestrian for riding an e-bike as “that’s cheating.” I just shouted back: “No it’s not I am not racing anyone.” He had no come back.
Edit:
I would say from my own experience the two main drawbacks are:
1. Close passes by ignorant drivers on the roads. So like you I wear a camera on my helmet. I have reported more than 30 close passes in the two months I have owned the bike.
2. Security. Where you store and secure it at home. I am apprehensive of leaving it out and about even if locked up to non moveable object.
there is no gear box on a bike.
ОтветитьWhat stops you to charge your battery at work ?
ОтветитьI don't understand why everyones so worried about it being stolen? Most offices have secure bike storage areas, if you stop for pub lunch/cafe on a weened ride, it sits next to you. And if you need to pop into the shops you can double lock it with U-lock for frame. There are also app related alarm triggers you can buy for bikes.
ОтветитьPoor comentry
ОтветитьI use my electric bike as I'm disabled, speed is the last thing i need ,people who use them for racing around, give other cyclists a bad name
ОтветитьCarry an extra battery for your trip like this next time just in case... those pannier bags for the back of the bike or in the USA they call them saddle bags are great for carrying such things and one I have can handle 130 lbs extra on the back and of course I won't add that amount of weight to it... but useful. Any way great example of a hill run with an E-Bike... thanks for your video review for what these are worth.
ОтветитьGreat video mate , very impressed
ОтветитьWhat would help with some of these bikes range is re-gen system. I ride a regular mountain bike which is old heavy and I have sciatica in one leg. I guess they're a lot heavier than a bike made with pig iron.
ОтветитьVery informative. Thanks.
ОтветитьI don’t think electric bikes are worth it because first reason there so expensive and if you get it it won’t last as long as size so it ain’t worth it in my opinion
ОтветитьYou say you electricity is renewable can you tell me how do they make sure only their electricity goes to your house how do they separate the electricity in the grid
They don't your using the same electricity as I am you've been scammed
Excellent video. I’ve just ordered one and really looking forward to it! I trialled one a little while back and was immediately hooked
ОтветитьI thought you came off 😭
Ответить"It's like driving over a teenagers face" Classic comedy !! ..............
ОтветитьReally good video mate
ОтветитьHow long did it take you to go back and forth ?
Ответить"Mark Corrigan's looking good"
ОтветитьYou ignored the fact that the production of your e-bike has a HUGE carbon footprint.
ОтветитьI ride the bicycle for health and leg strength. I have no business getting an e-bike.
ОтветитьRight now i drive on normal bike 27km to work 54 round trip :D maybe e bike would be a good idea , if i can do it on normal bike , ebike shoyud be soooo easy
ОтветитьJust watched this randomly and almost coughed up my dinner when I saw you were on my housing estate! So bizarre! Howdy neighbour, very helpful video thanks! :)
ОтветитьELECTRIC BICYCLES ARE FOR WEAKLINGS. YOU MUST USE A REAAALLLL BICYCLE WITHOUT ANY PUSSY ASSISTANCE.
ОтветитьIt's about going outlaw fv<k society
ОтветитьThis is a good video but to be fair to you google map took you off the deep end with regards to mapping out your travel. If you had ignored it and also swtiched off assistance going down hill (why would you need it lol?), the battery would have lasted a lot longer. Of course over time the battery capacity will fade and you will have to get a new one. Also in winter the battery wil not have a much range due to the cold weather. Did you ecounter that problem in the winter?
ОтветитьFenders!!!!! Are you a yank? In the UK they are mudguards
ОтветитьBulb supplies renewable energy to the grid. Unfortunately, the electricity you’re actually drawing from your socket, via the national grid, and using to charge your battery will almost certainly be a mix of renewable and fossil-fuel generated electricity. So alas it’s definitely not carbon neutral.
ОтветитьAs a guide expect to pay around 10% of the value of the bike on a quality lock.
Choose a bike rack or structure observed by plenty of people.
I have been using the same rack for 3yrs in town, literally 6ft from the out door tables of a Nero's. Scummy bike theives hate nothing more than people watching them.
Does it recharges the battery while all support is off and petaling?
ОтветитьHi Simon, I feel your analysis lacks a point that seems crucial to me : the carbon intensity of any transportation system usually takes into account manufacturing and recycling emissions. Even if all your energy is renewable, your's bike manufacture will still be responsible for 100-200 kg of CO2 eq., from then on, the more km you travel, the lower the footprint/km.
Let's say you owned a diesel car and bought a (new) ebike, if you cycle less than 1200 km with it, it would have been more carbon friendly to not buy the bike and just drive instead.
