SG, a Pignose, backing tracks. Wonderful.
ОтветитьReal conversations occurring here.
ОтветитьWestinghouse Group W production.
Ответитьi Love shut up and play...
ОтветитьFrank Zappa was quite an intellectual and a genius. I put him in a category with Prince.
ОтветитьAh yes! Way over on the wet side of the mindset !!! Better late than never I suppose... Thank you frank,! For a break from the normal...
ОтветитьZappa and Santana - Loud me in my Sitting room smoking weed my perfect end to the week
ОтветитьI was 15. Nov 23, 1973. Saw Frank perform at Massey Hall in Toronto. We had front row seats but at the far right of the stage and couldn't see the band too well because of the speaker arrangement. So, we went right up to the middle of the stage and knelt in front of it. Shortly, security came by and told us to go back to our seats. At that point the current song was just ending and when it did Frank announced to the security folks. "Leave the people be, they aren't bothering anybody"
And I figured we were going to get tossed out after about 3 songs.
RIp frank. One cool guy
Ответитьone screwed up dude
ОтветитьSo this is where EVH learned tapping.
ОтветитьJerky guy trying to go mainstream.
ОтветитьSa première note me donne la chair de poule
ОтветитьTapping huh? Before Eddie in rock.
ОтветитьMike a true classic and a beautiful man Frank is cool too.
ОтветитьI believe Mike Douglas expected hard rock but was treated to some cool jazz instead.
Ответитьjoni mitchell? Crass?
ОтветитьHow fucking great was Frank Zappa. Legend.
ОтветитьMike Douglas comes off as a truly kind person. Very respectful of his guests.
ОтветитьTwo years before Van Halen 1 came out.
ОтветитьFrank looks likes he’s tapping here in 1976. Ironic because dweezil and Eddie Van Halen were tight
ОтветитьIt always feels to me like he widely most understood — a genius ahead of his time in fission,, art and musicality !!
ОтветитьMan
That animation was crazy
A musical genius who was taken from us far too soon.
ОтветитьOne of the true innovators of rock n roll
ОтветитьTruly, a genius never did drugs. I only saw him once and he killed it. He lives in his own universe like the great musicians. Do you want some fun go check them out when he hosted Saturday night live it was epic.
ОтветитьZappa. Always impressive!
ОтветитьHe was good but not great. One guitarist's opinion.
ОтветитьI was like 9 on that date. I know I was already ten when I first played a guitar. But for several years before then, I wanted to play, but the parents didn't support it.
ОтветитьThe world needs more artists like Frank Zappa.
ОтветитьLovely
ОтветитьIsrael will last forever!
ОтветитьFor having those influences he should have used a little bit of em. Phony
ОтветитьIf I see one more comment about this dudes solos being iconic I might implode. E ery single one of you either sucks or is a paid troll. Twenty years later and thats his chops ? ROFLMFAO
ОтветитьHis guitar playing improv was not very good.
ОтветитьAll that talent wasted on that clueless audience boggles the mind.
A round peg into a very square hole.
zappa sucked at guitar
ОтветитьWow, what tv use to be.
ОтветитьI consider myself a fan of Frank Zappa. I don't have a ton of his albums but I enjoy listening to his music on occasion. Having said that I don't blame the networks for not airing the video clip he made. It was straight up bizarre with no educational or entertainment value at all. Of course it's possible I missed the meaning but if I never see it again it will be too soon.
ОтветитьIs it only me who thinks this is absolute garbage?
God rest his soul.
Jimmie Walker is a Segovia fan? Respect.
ОтветитьWho played with him? Was it a track?
ОтветитьBeautiful tune.
ОтветитьMy favourite version of Black Napkins.
ОтветитьI was never a huge Frank Zappa fan, but one of my best friends in high school was deeply fanatic about his music, so I paid a little more attention to his career after that. Once I started seeing interviews with Frank, I was extremely impressed at how intelligent and genuine this man was. What impressed me the most is how respectful he has always been towards the people who are interviewing him. RIP Mr. Zappa.
ОтветитьPlease bring back organic conversation. This is people- now everyone acts like they think people should act. It’s a weird world.
ОтветитьAttended an outdoor Zappa concert in the summer of 1975 or 1976. The lyrics of the songs were so perverse that I wanted to crawl under a rock. Wasn't a fan for that reason and because he butchered rock in my opinion.
Ответитьrad. thank you! ✌&❤
