They only want sons, yet want wives for their sons
ОтветитьMurder cannot be a tradition or custom. There's nothing worse than IGNORANCE.
ОтветитьI believe that Saroj is the re-incarnation of the little babies who were callously murdered.
ОтветитьThe same way that ignorant men mistreat and abuse the sacred cows in India, is the same way they mistreat and abuse their women. It is all connected, in every culture.
ОтветитьDear Suzette..God Bless u abundantly❤
ОтветитьThis video is 19 years old. India is changing fast, maybe not fast enough for some. The most important thing is that this is not what happens al over India. Rajasthanis are very orthodox and Bangalis mistreat their widowed mothers. In Gujarat it is very safe and women are respected more so then other places. This is my observation.
ОтветитьWithout women, their many sons will have no wives. How do they expect to have grandsons?
ОтветитьSo these communities are going to extinct their own culture and families when there’s no women left to reproduce with. What goes around comes around….. Karma
ОтветитьThis is absolutely nuts propaganda.
Even Haryana which was known for female infanticide today has a sex ratio of 1.08 males/ per female babies. For instance, Canada has a ratio of 1.05 male/ per females babies born. China is higher at 1.1 males/per female baby born.
When making propaganda, logic, math, statistics take a back seat.
I don't know how these dudes pretend to even see the sun if it wasn't for a murder survived woman; their mothers! Fool!
ОтветитьThere so much Nice things about Indian culture - BUT this kind of people. - in Hinduism is its a curse.
in Punjab these types attitudes have changed by internal family and society pressures, and the Wisdom of Sikhism has made the Punjabi-Sikhs, Hindus and Muslims change.and girls are mostly 90% treated as boys in Education , healthcare. Still their work is NOT done. -work in progress.
Indian punjabi people should help these people understand their practices are bad for their own societies and also its against the LAW of humanity !
As i grew up i got to know by these videos and documentaries shown in west a certain bad perceptions of women conditions in india and indian society is shown which i would say is absolutely false . Why because if you want to show these things then why don't they want to show stories of many women or girls like me who were given absolute freedom to live my life as i want since childhood. Thrive in education or other curriculum given right of higher education without even a single doubt . Given permission to do any job as i want .even do love marriages and date whoever i want . And please don't assume i was some privileged girl living in high society or educated family i belong to a village from not so very developed state and there were many girls i have came across my whole life who were given this life by their family and relatives so much that if i heard a girl being forced to have a miserable life like this denying education and basic rights all of us would sympathize with her and collect money and resources for her to be able to leave her home. I have never even came across sexual harrasment throught my life or a rape victim survivor anything like that i see these things only in news and india happening in some part of country . Ironic isn't it being me a indian women and india presented as a rape hub of this whole world. i also think about this a lot of time .
ОтветитьI would love to help, it seems so far away from indiana here in the usa...a person doesn't know how
ОтветитьVery surprising to me when i found out all these things being indian women myself . I never been to any foreign country to study or anything outside of india . I was always treated equal to my male siblings or friends in class. I am very well educated. Financially self independent everything. I will never deny india has patriarchy mindset society and i know many countries and families even west who keeps this mindset at some extent. Isn't it true that many west families have this same mindset claiming and justifying themselves by giving excuse as religious. Patriarchal society in india is diverse with every family people and mindset for some it's extreme because it has been forced on women to follow since ages and in some families it's just some do's and don't rules with no harm.
Ответитьsame as Abrahamic religion, brutal and barbaric. this is the product of Hinduism, a tradition that celebrate Patriarchal toxicity.
ОтветитьPeople commenting here on these documentaries let me ask you a simple question how do you know these problems in these few indian villages which i have to Google and find being indian myself when i never ever heard these things my whole life being rajasthan< the village in video belonging to a village of that state>the state neighboring to my state where i live in.
ОтветитьHere's what I dont understand: with the gender ratio being skewed by female infanticide (and probably also sex selective abortions), there must be a shortage of marriagable women, at least in regions like the first one shown. Why then, is still the girl's family who has to pay a hefty dowry instead of the husband paying a bride price? There are many patriarchal countries (in Africa, for example) where they do that, and that way, though women still have a hard life in many aspects, at least there is no motivation to kill newborn girls because they are a source of income rather than a cost.
ОтветитьThose men in the village should not be allowed to marry!
ОтветитьJesus teach men to love their wifes, protect then and provide, condemned infanticide, and in India Christianity is highly persecuted, churches broken and people killed, any attempt to get out of this terrible culture is highly suppressed... maybe that's also why Suzette got attacked
ОтветитьIndian prime minister Narendra Modi left his wife to attain supreme power. Indian people celebrate this disgusting act. This is how India thinks. By the way, he is a Rama's disciple.
ОтветитьThis is true India. Sati system in different clothes.😢
ОтветитьThis is what a woman from India (a Sikh woman) told me when her husband's brother was abusing me: "if he r @ p e $ you it's your fault". He did r @ p e me and he was not the only one to do so.
It was NOT my fault but 100% the fault of the perpetrators!
"The one who has a daughter born to him and he does not bury her alive, nor keeps her in disgrace, nor prefers his son to her, Allah will admit him to Paradise." (Abu Da'ud). In the true Islam sent to us by Allah (swt), burying girls like the period of ignorance is prohibited. But the truth is, when people do something bad, it is attributed to the religion they follow. I invite you to read the verses about burying daughters in Islam.
ОтветитьI am from India 🇮🇳
Don't see this in black and white perspective, everything is in shades of gray.
Ofcourse I am with women and there rights.
But this documentry is showing its viewers partially true but everything in India is not like this, Ofcourse India is a patriarchal society because it is o Third Words Country but it is changing for good.
Government is ofcourse with women in this case and society in India is also changing, like in India we have reservation for women is different election and education, and also have subsidies for women to join workforce (job). Recently our government also abolished Triple Talaak ( Muslim law ) which suppress women and government had done many things for womens safety.
In shot everything is in shades of gray like some parts of India are really Matriarchal.
still for these people/culture of asia.,the people of europe specially are the "devil" incarnated" i feel that when we own too much ,but we are apathic narcissistic psycho,we wont be able to own u p for our own sins/crimes/errors,and instead ,point a finger,at someone that may be less sinful than your at large!!
i dont understand their" holier than thou" attitude, when they practice too much crimes against the innocent
That's enuf on this excruciating topic 😢
ОтветитьBut there is a huge gap between Northern and Southern India with respect to women empowerment.
By generalizing that this is the condition of all Indian women is not true. Women from Northern India suffer more due to their backward social setup.
They come to our countries with their sick, backwards thinking. I think if you’re convicted of ONE CRIME as an immigrant you go home. Back where you came from. Be grateful and not hateful. 🤬
ОтветитьAwful Culture
ОтветитьThat was eye opening
ОтветитьThey are intelligent wen it comes to education but stupid wen it comes to their ridiculous culture which i think should change. Killing babies is a mortal sin. Evil mother in laws should be punished. Their men are phedofile and a chavunist 😡 and Wen something bad happens in the household the will blame the women. 🙄
ОтветитьMuch as India likes to deny the poverty, misogeny and casteism still rife in it's society, and project itself as a modern forward looking technological society, all these problems remain under the surface. To be fair, things are changing for the better, but with such a huge population it takes generations to change centuries-old traditions and mind-sets. And also to be fair, as has been stated in other comments, India is like a 'country of countries' these problems are much worse in some places than others.
ОтветитьTakk!
ОтветитьDONT SAY COUNTRY. When it is literally idiotic people n not all indians. It happens where people grow up n how there family's mentality. There are millions of family who loved n prayed having daughter n treat them as princesses. But definately not all n its not only indias problem, it happens world wide.
ОтветитьWhen the western women had to fight for even as basic a right as voting, it was a given for indian women . Women PM,Presidents, Supremecourt judges, Governors etc are still a dream in the west nd middle east .
ОтветитьPowerful
Women in our Epics were women .
We had women docs , scientists , teachers in ancient India when the west was living in caves .
I am an Indian and I admit that this partly true. But this is a regional problem. It occurs only in a few states. It doesn’t happen in the South and the Northeast at least.
ОтветитьMake a documentary on moota nikaah , nikaah halala plz
Ответитьwtf?.. No man will be born if no woman conceived him.
ОтветитьBunch of man who are threatened what a woman can do if they got the same prevelege. Very much lucky i was born in a country where i can freely excercise my rights as a woman. May Gob bless all those woman.
ОтветитьThey don’t believe in God in India, and only the devil is present in every last one of their so-called houses. If I had enough money, I will save every last one of them kids because those probably will be the only ones that will have a good chance I believe in God, in the name of Jesus, I pray God show up for the women and children. Amen.
ОтветитьThis is so sad, horrible sick sickness killing is a sin and another woman is telling you to kill your child. That’s evil precious life gone because you were born a girl just evil.
ОтветитьEverywhere I go, i see many smart and beautiful indian women with so much potential. It's sad to see that india does not treat their women properly.
ОтветитьMy question is how do the men think children are created? Their mothers are women. Or is there selective killing of which female child will survive? Or do the brides come from different villages?
ОтветитьYou are right I can confirm India don't like women's
ОтветитьAh my God! What did I just stumble upon! 😮😳
