Ответить❤
ОтветитьHI Claire - I love all your vids but this is especially useful. Writing my christmas list - haha :)
ОтветитьYou are awesome I love watching you camping trips
ОтветитьOh my gosh very organized 😍
ОтветитьSounds like your tent needs work. Re- do the seam seal and try it at home in the rain
ОтветитьYou so Sweet 😊
ОтветитьDitch the waterproof jacket for a large poncho, more ventilation and protects backpack and has more use if not needed.
ОтветитьYou should put your bivi bag over your sleeping bag then pack it . Good video
ОтветитьFor under 10kg that is a lot of stuff... awesome gear !
Ответить😍
ОтветитьExcellent kit! When I did outdoor activities at college 40 odd years ago, we weren't allowed more than 30lbs of kit....& getting down to that was a struggle! Kit has evolved!
Ответитьnoting to make fire with😵
ОтветитьGreat video.
I am very suspicious of "high end" kit because its become such a market for milking the tourists.
Im pretty shocked that a RAB bivvy bag isnt even waterproof?!?! I bought a Dutch army surplus bivvy bag for eight quid, and whilst its heavier and doesnt close fully if used separately, it has never leaked or let me down. Similarly, Im very suspicious of a £180 tent that leaks and doesnt come seam sealed. Thats just taking the piss tbh.
I think you are working very smart with the way you get your gear ultralight, although on my budget Im going for gear that is slightly heavier, a fraction of the price, and trying to get stronger so I can put up with the extra 50% load in my pack.
I dont mean to sound cynical but I am frequently shocked at some of the high end kit that has failed on you.
Would you please sell me a pair of your panties? You must of worn them for at least ten hours and you must not wash them….any reasonable offer considered. Thanks. Steve
ОтветитьI want to live for ever
ОтветитьYou can clean your pan without water, just turn it upside down over the fire, the heat will kill any bacteria and germs, then when cool just wipe it off.
ОтветитьWhen you buy a tent, you SHOULDN'T have to seam sew ANYTHING!
Here in the U.S. "OZARK" and "COLEMAN" make awesome tents!
Wow. I could watch you and listen to you for days. But eventually, you would likely fail the smell test.... :P
ОтветитьI used to enjoy your videos until I found out you promote the torture and murder of beautiful intelligent animals (lambs), now I'm afraid you just disgust me.
ОтветитьRe your undies, try out Sumea boxer shorts. They're made of beechwood pulp and have antimicrobial properties so one could wear them for days (weeks in my case!) before they get a little wiffy 🙂
ОтветитьThe bug net & sunglasses was a really great look. :)
ОтветитьThe link for seam sealer is the incorrect type it needs to be seam sil if your using it on a lanshan
Ответитьhello Claire you could try using a British army bivvi bag, they are breathable and waterproof it wont let you down, a little bit heavy and bigger than your one to pack away, the longest I slept in one was a week with no tent. you said about your tent could blow away this might be a good back up, thanks for your channel very entertaining and good info
Ответить👍👍👍👍🌹💞🌹💞🌹💞🌹🌹🌹🌹
ОтветитьVery clear prep Claire. Good video. You have thought about every detail. Stay Beautiful, prepared and safe.
ОтветитьMy tent is a single layer Dyneema (Zpacks) so I tuck my quilt footbox into my rain shell whenever there’s a chance of condensation. It does an excellent job of keeping me dry and I don’t have to carry the extra weight of a bivy. Try it, it works great.
ОтветитьOnetigris bungalow...best single skin ive owned..2 treking poles for tent..+2 poles for awning..british army gortex bivvy bag saved me loads
ОтветитьGreat video 👍
ОтветитьGreat equipaments
ОтветитьI wanna taste some water from a waterfall so bad 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьI make a list after every bike or backpacking trip, underlining everything I didn’t use, then circling the items I do not need and likely will not carry next time (respective of duration and expected climate).
ОтветитьHi Claire 👋🏻 can I ask what make are your water shoes? Do they protect from rocks or are the soles fairly thin?
Ответить?
Ответитьseems for your wild advetures you have all necessary . So with your nice kits help you
ОтветитьI have the utmost respect for you and what you have accomplished with your follower numbers. You are far braver than me, I’m a 63 year old bald, ugly, fat bloke and I would not camp out alone anywhere.
I wish you every success in the future.
Have you re-applied the seam seal stuff? And has that fixed the leaky issue? (I'm looking to buy one myself)
ОтветитьYou should replace your shoelaces by 3 mm climbing rope or paracord, they are stronger and can be used in an emergency for… anything
ОтветитьAnd well done you
ОтветитьReally interesting. But how much does all this kit cost? Strikes me as costly & prohibitive.
ОтветитьQue aventura hermosos videos
ОтветитьWow.. really brave girl solo camping.. you don’t carry any self defence accessories? Im thinking of carrying a bear spray, 1 machete, 1 Rambo knife and pepper spray cuz there are a lot of weird people in Malaysia.. And also my foldable spade turns into a spear if needed. Btw, with your experience with tents. Why wouldn’t you choose using the automatic tent that is easily open and close like the function of an umbrella?
ОтветитьThose tiny little stoves are no use without the gas tin, so its miniature dimension only serves to help mislay the important item or worse stand on it! Every time I see a mountain beauty boiling their camping cup perched atop such a cherished gadget - I am tempted to give it a gentle poke with a stick to reveal its deficiency. Of course I'm not that bad to do it.
ОтветитьI'm upset......... you didn't take me ha ha 😄
Ответитьlight is good but strudy is nice so keep both and use as situation developes nice to. have different setups survival is options...
ОтветитьTake a look at a CNOC water bag.
Wide mouth opening for scooping water quick and easy, 2 & 3 liters - very tough bag no leaking.
Bonus - get an extra one for women night time needs, so we don’t have to get out of the tent 🏕 to pee, it’s a perfect fit.
I’ve been hiking 🥾 for over 40 yrs now.
Hello what's your country ? I like your videos thank you so much From Algeria North Africa SALAM
