$70 MILLION FERRARI 250 GTO DRIVING ON THE STREETS OF BEVERLY HILLS! REVS & DOWNSHIFT SOUND

Completed in June of 1963, this 250 GTO was sold new to Count Volpi for his Scuderia SSS Republica di Venezia. It was entered at Le Mans for Carlo Maria Abate and Fernand Tavano. They failed to finish following an accident. Chassis 4757GT was then raced successfully by Abate in several hillclimbs. In Belgian ownership, it was raced in local events during the 1964 and 1965 seasons. It was then sold to the United States, where it passed through various hands before it was confiscated by the FBI in 1984 after its then owner was indicted for drugs smuggling. It was eventually sold at auction and acquired in the late 1980s by Dutch Ferrari importer Fritz Kroymans. He raced the car extensively until his business empire collapsed and he was forced to sell his collection in 2010.

Thank you for this video when I saw this car on the Father’s Day concourse I kept coming back to this car I would look at it take pictures and then I will come right back again and take more pictures of this beautiful Ferrari. It just looks so beautiful out there on rodeo drive. Well this year in 2023. I hope we have a good turn out again at the Beverly Hills concourse on Father’s Day. It's a replica. Fiberglass body on a Datsun Z car. I can tell by the shape of the windshield. And how the corners of the side windows meet with it. I own 5 of the Z cars. I recognize one when I see one.
