I loved when I first learned the toy rotation and I like the idea of ten minute tidy up. Also I like the idea of laying out clothes the night before - I used to do it but then I kind of lost it and now got reminded to do it again
ОтветитьThank you very much, I just lovved your ideas.
ОтветитьThere's a book called Eat that Frog which addresses the elephant hunting logic of getting the least pleasant tasks out of the way first. It's good logic! After those tasks are done, everything else feels like cake.
ОтветитьFrom Uganda, I loved them all.
ОтветитьGreat tips, thanks for sharing! ❤
ОтветитьLike how you are real and give intelligent practically tips.
ОтветитьMan are NOT woman, be patient with us. If we don't help, it's because man we don't ask for help, we just do it, or sort of. We have a pressure to show we are strong. Woman like help from other womans, it's obvious to them. But not for man. Read man are from mars and woman from venus. :)
Venir nice videol.
Swapping house cleaning with you and a friend is a good thing to do aswell. Because we never like cleaning our own house, but we are always happy to help a friend :)
Ответитьi like the one when all the family have a daily timeline task because it reinforce the family's unity.
i have two daughets and a son, my two daughers 7 and 9 years old make my daily life very difficult because they always argue about everything , if you have some advice i 'll take them thanks
If you prepear everything the night before set yourself a time limit, and don't break it bc I remember not being able to sleep as a child because I know my mom isn't sleeping and will be tired tomorrow, and tired moms aren't spreading the most positive vibes
ОтветитьI am a mom since 4 month and don't know if my tip is still useful, when my daughter is older, but I'm planning a nap for everyday. My aunt has now 5 kids and doing the same and if there isn't a family member who watching her kids she invites friends and I first thought this would seem so weird to sleep while there are guests, but she seems to be the organised mom that I know
ОтветитьI love the idea of the snacks boxes! Not only for children but also for us! Great video! Thank you so much! 🥳🥳🥳
ОтветитьMy favourite tip: Getting up before the kids - genius! So simple, how did that not occur to me?!
ОтветитьHi , love your videos ! So helpfull . Ive used alot of your advicr . Can i ask ehat make is the handheld hoover ? Thank you
ОтветитьI don't have kids, but I feel like I do most of this already. But my questions is, why do you need to ask your partner to help you? I'm struggling with this. Why do you need to ask them to do their laundry, or clean their dishes. It's so frustrating.
ОтветитьDo the chores you don't want to do first
Wash a load everything morning.
Prepare the night before
Get up before your kids do
Snacks buckets to eat during the weekend
Do everything done before you sit down.
Tidy up with the kids before they go to bed
Deligate chores to others
Set Tidy up times, put a song
Accept help
Get a profesional cleaner
Find organisations style that works for you. Eg paper or electronic
(Google keep app)
Meal plan and meal prep on Sunday
Batch cook
Have a day to do a deep clean
Deep cleaning
Declutter for your mental health
Toy rotation ...put things away and only bring a few out.
Make time for selfcare to reduce stress. 30mins a day.
So so helpful thank you!
ОтветитьGreat ideas!!
Ответитьjust subscribed- very good channel and very sweet content creator! Loved timer cleaning tip since I dread getting stuck in endless cleaning cycles (thus, I put off starting at all) so timing and making myself stop when timer rings creates a very needed light at the end of the tunnel for me!!
ОтветитьSome good tips there thanks 👍🏽 I like to sort the washing into piles on a Sunday evening (as I don’t tend to do any on Sat & Sun’s) in the utility room and get the first load into the machine on a “delayed end” so in the morning it’s washed and ready to go out on the line. I also often make blueberry and banana muffins and pop them in the freezer. I then get one out for each of my daughters each evening to defrost and they have that with a glass of milk and a piece of fruit for their breakfast. If we’re in a rush they can always eat them on the way to school!👍🏽👍🏽
ОтветитьI have watched this video before, Emily - need to watch it again feel like I am drowning juggling house, kids and work! Love your videos, they are so relatable. Love your Happiness Jumper too, cheered me up on a very cold morning in Scotland!!
ОтветитьThank you Emily!!! 😀 you have the best video for Mums!
ОтветитьMy top tips is "to do the 3 minutes round around tidy up at the end of the day everyday/night the quickiest you can. It helps me with our 3 small kids. I am your no. fan. Thank you for the motivation tips and being inspiration to us.
ОтветитьLove all your advice
ОтветитьHi, Emily I am Soo stuck in ur videos these days🥰🥰🥰. Moving to a new house soon and I am determined to keep it as clean and as new as possible🤞 so I am watching, learning and making soo many notes from ur videos. Thank u soo soo much.

ОтветитьOrganisation tip: use a bullet journal, but don’t worry about it looking pretty or messing it up. It’s there to be used and you can’t use it daily if your bullet journal routine takes an hour a day. (That’s not to say that you can’t make a pretty page if you’re in the mood or if you have time).
ОтветитьCan you make a video about how to cook on your own food as a kid without a grownup? Thank you 😇
ОтветитьI wish I knew about your channel 3 years ago when I became a stay at home mom.
ОтветитьHey Emily

I am a new mom.

ОтветитьFor me one of the main organizing "goals" that works great for me is to not cause extra work for myself.
- I hang the laundry straight, so I don't have to iron it, and just fold it neatly.
- I clean the tip/corner and bottom of the ketchup, maple sirup, milk, honey ... before putting it away (this way, I don't get the fridge/ cupboard dirty as fast)
- If I do a big shopping and the fridge is emptier than usual, I quickly wipe down everything that I feel could use that extra sweep (so I then place clean objects into an always-clean-fridge)
- I clean surfaces after using them (or dishes while cooking) so I don't dirty other things from them
- I have a special way for fast-folding clean clothes I either tried on in a hurry and decided not to wear, or clothes I wore for only a small period of time and that are clean; I also have a dedicated spot for them (this way I don't have extra unnecessary laundry and damage my clothes less by washing them less. I often opt for a "worn but not stinky" shirt when I'm going to work out etc)
- I fill in the dishwasher in a way that it will be easier or faster for me to unload
- I also tend to match clothes (category-wise or person-wise) in the laundry so I feel like I have less piles when folding it
- If my shoes are dirty I wash them along with my hands when I come home (the thoroughness of the wash depends partly on the time and how soon I will need to wear them again), so they have time to dry out but also aren't "left unattended to"
It's a bunch of silly little things but I have marketed to myself (as a lazy person) as ones that will spare me some work and make my life easier :D and they keep me calmer and happier ! ^^
Very useful tips as always. The one problem I am facing that I do ask my partner to contribute and do his part of chores but he is just not contributing (he says he doesn't make mess)...not sure there is any way to reason with him.
ОтветитьPassing by watching Emily and your best tips for getting organized. Thank you for this tips..very useful
ОтветитьWhere is your planner from? X
ОтветитьOH MY GOSH!!! Where is that mini dyson from!!!??? HOW CUTEEEE
ОтветитьYou are such a diligent and hardworking mum. Wow thank you so much for these wonderful tips ❤
ОтветитьThanks for the tips. Also your skin face looks amazing
ОтветитьMy best tip is the one touch method : once I touch something I need to put it in its place !
ОтветитьEmily I must say your approach is very realistic and your delivery is matured. I am from Ghana and this is so applicable to my context.
ОтветитьI like meal planning best - since the pandemic. I shop food on Monday and Friday evening and plan meals accordingly.
My tip for an organized life: We have one common family calendar in the kitchen. We write all events, doctors appointments, birthday, vacation days... in. It has 5 columns, 3 for our family members, 1 for other events and 1 for the meal of the day.
Hi I am so tired. My husband is angry. I really can't deal with my business and arrange the house and keep the baby. We are about to divorce because the living room is full of our kids toys. I tired of arranging. Really need a fast and easy way to organise
