My housemate introducing me to this song has probably done an equal amount of good for my recovering from SA related trauma, as actual therapy did for it. I could get sad, or afraid because of my SA but why would I when I can just get *PISSED*? The rage means I'm finally accepting it was never my fault. That I was done wrong by, and I have every right to be pissed.

As a survivor of molestation by a close friend for several years, this was helpful for letting me get in touch with my feelings whenever I have homicidal thoughts towards him. It makes me feel less ashamed for being angry at him. In psych hospitals, I’ve been told I should forgive him for what he did and that I shouldn’t be having violent thoughts towards him. This song helps me a little bit by making me feel less guilty about having those feelings. It also helps me feel like I have more power over myself and that I’m not just a small helpless boy. I feel more like I can do something and that I can stick up for myself. Thank you, Scene Queen 🫶❤️
