I seen you mention this on one of your other videos super interested in checking this out right on🤙🏼
ОтветитьGreat video, however I seem to be struggling with downloading maps when using the Shaded Relief layer. Gaia keeps telling me that it only supports a certain number of tiles when using that layer. Any suggestions?
ОтветитьGreat video! Love your wife peaking out from behind you. haha
Though I still have a lot to learn, this was very helpful. I think I just need more hands on experience. Does your group go on simpler treks accessible by AWD's by chance?
I think i will stay with on x
Ответитьits easier to be lost in the woods for 3 days then try to figure out how Gaia works.
ОтветитьI have found discrepancies in the MVUM and the IVM. According to the MVUM I drove a trail that was open. But after watching your video I reviewed my route on the IVM and it was labeled closed. Which one keeps me from getting a ticket if I get stopped?
Thanks for the videos!
THANK YOU
ОтветитьI've used it in the Arizona desert. I have android. I use it on my tablet.
ОтветитьWow! Your audio pickup is amazing. I was listening to this with Sony XM4s on and all the lawnmower and traffic sounds had me looking left and right for traffic!
ОтветитьCan you explain a bit more about the card reading. As we are going to drive in Marocco in the Dunes, reading the map is very critical. Or should we use an other system?
Ответитьi might get this app, but unfortunately where i live the national forest road maps are completely inaccurate :(
unfortunately, they still show national forest roads that were closed 13 years ago and will never be reopened
My Mom and dad lived in Mountain View for 30 years!!! by Prim and Parma
ОтветитьMatt, We just finished the NMBDR. I downloaded NM and the BDR into GAIA on our iPAD. With it plugged and charging we could barely finish a 8 hour day before the iPAD battery died. What are we doing wrong?
ОтветитьGreat video! So much information!
ОтветитьThis might be a stupid question, but once the map is already downloaded, would it still be able to show where you are as a ping along the trail? Or do you just have to know where your going?
Haven’t been able to try and use any of these yet. Thanks.
Beware signing up as you’ll be charged $20 per month and it’s virtually impossible to cancel your account. I don’t even recall how I signed up! No one live to speak to for assistance and no unsubscribe button!
Beware!!
Going to be checking out the Ozarks this weekend. Will be pulling an OBI dweller caravan so wondering about any suggestions to setup camp or places I'll be able to pull it without super tight trails. Probably going to checkout St. Francis area I'm thinking. I know it's hot right now and dry but water crossings shouldn't be bad anywhere I'm guessing.
ОтветитьThanks for the awesome video on Gaia. I’ve been using OnX Offroad and it’s ok, but you can’t edit a track. When I’m doing a pre-run somewhere I often end up doing a u-turn or two, making a left instead of a right, etc. and there’s no way to remove those from the recorded track in OnX, you just have to create a whole new line without those mis-turns, save it and delete the recorded track.
Can you edit a track in Gaia? If so, that would be enough to make me switch! Thanks!!
Worthless. Looks NOTHING like the Android app.
