We just made this today as we saw the video had almost all the ingredients, it was incredible!
ОтветитьGenuinely a really yummy dish, definitely going to be a staple for us from now on. highly highly recommend
ОтветитьIndian food has been described as the most delicious food in the world.
I absolutely agree.
I love the name of your channel—the curry looks great : )
ОтветитьHi Nisha, could you please provide more info in your tiny stove?
ОтветитьYour food must be tasty.. you've put on weight :)
ОтветитьThis is the BEST curry I have ever had! I ate it twice today!
ОтветитьI made this for the first time tonight. My partner and I loved it! Amazing recipe, so much flavour! Thanks for sharing it.
ОтветитьI am impressed you consider winter tomatoes horrible , like i do 9 months of the year , like 9 months of the year where i live. Thumbs up and thank you for your guidelines..
ОтветитьThis dish was very tasty. I am not able to get fresh curry leaves where I live so I used dry maybe next time I go to the city I’ll go to an Indian store and see if I can find fresh curry leaves there. Next time I will use more Serrano peppers. I only used one because it was quite large and I’ve never had these peppers before so I wasn’t sure if I could handle the heat however, I can handle much more heat then what was in the dish so next time I’ll try to maybe three. Thank you so much for sharing. This was very very good and I can’t wait to have it again tomorrow because it’ll even be better 😃
ОтветитьI just made this today for dinner, and it was aboslutely delicious!
I normally go for the classic Chana Masala with the ready-made spice powder, but this was an interesting take on the classic, especially with the creamy coconut milk. It was a perfect, wholesome and comforting meal on a cold, winter evening. Hubby loved it!
Thanks a lot Nisha 😊
I am sooo lucky to have had the opportunity to share flats with indians while I was studying in the UK. I was smart enough to ask them to teach me some of those divine recipes and now I can make my own indian dishes living in Brazil. Indian food is the best!!!❤
ОтветитьJust got done making this. It was delicious
ОтветитьNew subscriber - you are too sweet, that curry is tantalizing my palette, I have to try it. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьYum! and what brand of tahini is that? Still looking for a good one.
ОтветитьSOunds fantastic> Am going to follow your recipe for my wife as she loves both curry and chickpeas!! BTW - Perhaps use your chefs knife to move the chiles onto your board scraper. Keeps those pesky chiles we all love OFF of your hands!
ОтветитьI watched the video yesterday and after a long day today I needed something to eat that was comforting, indulgent and still healthy. Voila, it's all of the above! It tastes exactly how it looks in the thumbnail and it's to die for! Thank you so much ❤🤗🙂
ОтветитьMade this recipe and it is delicious. Cholesterol issues so want to lower the saturated fat (Coconut Milk). Looking for substitution suggestions to make it more Heart healthy but still as yummy. Ex: Light Coconut milk vs. Full Fat ? Or is there other substitutes you recommend to still have a delicious recipe but have it be more heart healthy. Thanks.
ОтветитьI too just made this for dinner and It was absolutely incredible! I didnt use fresh curry leaves, tomato paste, chilies or toasted coriander seeds, but it was still one of the best vegan curries ive ever had! I cant imagine how good the full version is
ОтветитьI made this today and oh my it is delicious! Biting into the whole spices was a nice and flavorful surprise. I will make this often and will make the tofu curry later this week.
ОтветитьThis is a household favorite recipe in my family now!! I make it with caramelized honey maple butternut squash cubes and brussel sprouts. I’ll be making this forever, I cannot thank you enough!!
ОтветитьI have made this curry twice. I am in love. Thank you for explaining everything so calmly and for encouraging us to try something new.
ОтветитьThe only change i would make would be to use basmati whole grain brown rice. Much healthier
ОтветитьMade this tonight! Added broccoli & some bell peppers instead of kale. It was soooo good! ❤❤❤
I need to buy your cook book! This is my 4th? recipe I've made by you & each one is a WINNER! Taking some to my coworker tomorrow
I like Indian food “Indian Hot.” Serrano peppers are like jalapeños to me so I had to chuckle with all the caution. Looks like an interesting chick pea recipe though. I need to break out of the standard southern Indian Chana masala, so this is great. Can’t wait to try it out. Thanks.
ОтветитьNice tips, and what an personality. You made me chuckle a few times. Thank you
Ответитьlooks very yummy but i do have a question, i see sometimes the phrase " kosher salt", what is that? does it have to be sanctioned by a rabbi or is it not salt or can i use salt. i am confused
Ответить"Y'all are stupid" 😆 🤣 😂
ОтветитьI have just found your channel and I thought I made a half decent curry. I’m learning so so much. Thank you 🙏
ОтветитьMade this today - had everything except curry leaves (Indian store near me was closed) - very good - forgot to add the garam masala at the end but still, super flavorful and I like getting the greens in by adding swiss chard - will make again .;_
ОтветитьI must say that my friends were disappointed because the servings were too small even with rice and they loved the taste.
I would say the recipe is for 4 people.
i did some willful and some less willful replacements and a small processing error and this dish is already tasting absolutely fantastic. to be frank, i have never cooked with whole seed spices before and i am going to buy all the whole seed spices now ;). if i cook this 2-3 more times, its probably gonna be one of the tastiest things i have eaten.
ОтветитьI was watching and thinking this was a beautiful dish until you ruined it by adding tahini. (I have a sesame allergy) . I'm sure it's delicious though!!! I could probably just leave the tahini out....
ОтветитьI'm allergic to this, just wanted to watch!
ОтветитьSo she is not an A&P major. You can't have everything. But she already has many of the vital, crucial and important things, so she has that.
ОтветитьOh my god you are so beautiful 😍
ОтветитьI just made this for dinner tonight and it was amazing! Thank you so much for sharing such a delicious and satisfying meal. I added potatoes and subbed the leafy greens with cabbage because that was all I had on hand. Just realized I completely forgot to add the sugar, but I'll definitely make this again!
Ответитьthank you sounds delicious.
ОтветитьI did this recipe today and ended up totally pleased with the outcome, it felt right from the beginning and in the end the taste was just what i expected, what a connection 🙃. Although i didn't have curry leaves.
Thanks a lot and congratulations.
Peanut butter: gah! Tahini: mniam mniam!
ОтветитьShabash Shayna punim (pretty face). This looks delicious!
ОтветитьIs there just a quick list of the recipe?
ОтветитьIndian cuisine is my favorite!!
ОтветитьMade this late-night, didn't have the chilli or the fresh green. Used homemade masala from previous meals and small cauliflower florets.
It's very similar to a spicy chickpea recipe my wife uses, so she kinda kept me right.
Definitely getting chilli and chard/ kale to make next time.
Good video, be checking out more.
too much blah blah
ОтветитьI was disappointed because the coconut milk split in the cooking. What can you do to fix that please.
ОтветитьME...I would drain My chickpeas first. That might be why you almost forgot to add the additional ingredients 🤔 Jalapeno & Garlic equals: Jarlic 🌶️ + 🧄🤣
Ответить66 seconds. This is exactly how much time I needed to subscribe.
