I think the stock market will do well in 2024, so I'm thinking of putting $220,000 into stocks for my retirement. Any advice on doing this safely? Also, any important tips for the current financial situation?

I live in a very low-cost place, Milwaukee, WI. I own my house. I've got $286k in my account now. Waiting for my TSLA and PLTR to pay off. Sitting on 786 shares of AAPL. I want to sell it all off in like 5 years and put it into something like JEPI. Cost of living here is super low. I could retire, and maybe work on the weekends.

And 3M is consistently losing value.

Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got to talking about investment and money. I started investing with $150k and in the first 2 months, my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and get more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.

Guys, if I focus on growth ETFs till I retired. When I sell the growth ETF and switch to ETFs like SCHD n JEPI, how much tax would I need to pay?

Don’t bother with stocks. Stake crypto and get 6-15% APY

Stocks extended their year-to-date rally following the CPI report, with the S&P 500 last up 0.8% in afternoon trading. but I don't know if stocks will quickly rebound, continue to pull back or move sideways for a few weeks, or if conditions will rapidly deteriorate.I am under pressure to grow my reserve of $250k.

Love the video, I am moving into dividends now, but I noticed you stated one can only contribute $6k to a Roth. For 2023, it is $6500 for those under 50

I began investing at the age of 34, primarily utilizing my hard work and dedication. Now at the age of 42, I am delighted to share that my passive income exceeded $100k for the first time in a single month. This advice is truly valuable, so don't hesitate to take action. Remember, it's not about achieving wealth quickly, but rather about building wealth consistently and persistently.

Dividends are a great thing, but they’re only really effective for passive income when you either have somewheres over 20 to 25 thousand shares of a high yielding stock. Meaning you likely need to have a few hundred thousand if not more invested in it. Re-investing dividends back into the same stock certainly does snowball with compound interest, but you only really start seeing it after 20 years of never stopping and likely needing to add additional money of your own with it….so it’ll be time consuming and costly. The way I see it if you have a million dollars at some point, that’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between 50 to 70 thousand in dividend income

People often don't realise this but since dividend yield grows yearly and so does stock value (in optimal scenario) you don't really need to save 1.5 million dollars to get that 5% yield to get 75000 dollars per year. It helps to start investing early though. However since the dividend yield can also go backwards (and the stock value), there's no guarantee in any case this plan works.

I agree the stock market is a very good way to make passive income. I have heard of several investors who were making more than $40k a month from the market. I'm ready to go into the market now, but I'm careful to not make a mistake. Or are there are safe bets?

Interesting , the stock market is currently experiencing a decline while bond yields are on the rise. However, there seems to be skepticism amongst investors regarding the Federal Reserve's plan to continue increasing interest rates until inflation is stabilized. As for myself, I find myself at a crossroads, uncertain whether to liquidate my $250,000 stock portfolio> I'm seeking advice on the best strategy to capitalize on this current bear market.

It really doesn't make sense to say "how much do you want to live off of" unless it's like a 5, 10 year max time frame. Retirement is potentially 30+ years and with 3% inflation that's going to decimate the standard of living for a fixed income. All your calculations should be inflation adjusted
