The only problem I have with this is if we are Christians and someone repents we forgive them and restore them the Bible says. We don't have to take them back but as brothers and sisters in Christ we are all the same family and it is wrong not to forgive them and restore.

some people are provocative by nature, they will keep challenging you aggressively. Sometimes they know that you are timid and will not fight back. no matter what, it is always better to respond than to react. If someone is affecting your inner peace, we always have the choice to block him/her from our lives or gradually distance ourselves from them

I think it depends on the situation. Sometimes it’s okay to argue, it’s okay to hold ppl accountable when they’re evil or engaging in bad behavior towards us. Sometimes it’s best to be silent but sometimes it’s also okay to stand up for one self.

I had to learn this again the hard way. I get so much disrepectfulness on a daily basis. I mostly ignore them. But they get me at times. An I have to remember not to respond. It’s hard.

Amen. The Holy Spirit revealed this truth to me in scripture of several times Jesus did not respond. I find either ignore them, walk away, or speak truth (by the leading of the Holy Spirit in each situation). Yes, Val, to trigger a person means to control a person. It means mind control and energy stealing. For me, personally, there are times to fight and face the enemy but much more important and to be preferred: Evade him, give him no space in reality. Wow incredible this message came to. Its exactly whats going on in my life but Im good I allow her to keep antagonizing it just shows shes the one really hurt I dont respond and havent for a year and she still at it LOL. NEVER EVER STOOP TO THEIR LEVEL NEVER!
