Julee Morton, who played Karen, is now 83 and ultimately earned a masters degree in educational psychology and became a family therapist. I'm so happy because this is probably the first time I've looked up one of these guest actresses and found she didn't die of lung cancer in 1993.😊❤❤
ОтветитьYou don't want them Cartwright after your hide.
ОтветитьI feel that way too . watching them makes you forget your troubles.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьCarroll O'Connor Is My All Time Favorite Actor
ОтветитьOle Archie Bunker and Sheriff Gallespie… two great roles also played by Carrol O'Conners 🥰🙌❤️
ОтветитьArchie Bunker, Uncle Jesse Duke.....this episode is epic
ОтветитьClassic Western🐎🎻👍
ОтветитьNot up to the usual Bonanza standard, IMO. Several plot flaws. Looks like it was put together in a hurry.
ОтветитьADAM didn't do it for me. Like an anchor on a sailing ship.. He said he left cuz he didn't feel his acting talents were not being utilized. Huh? What did he do after? Guess I should look it up first before posting. Lol
ОтветитьThis is July 2023 Bonanza is still great as it once was
Ответить2021 -2022 good

ОтветитьI can't count how many times Little Joe has been shot! Thank God he recovers each. And every time .🎉❤😊
ОтветитьArchie's granddad was ruthless.
ОтветитьI like Archie Bunker!😂
ОтветитьSeems when the crooks shoot somebody they kill em, but shooting the cartwrights they tend to be poor shooters!
ОтветитьI didn't know Carrol O Connor was in bonanza
Ответить❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьChris Alcaide first time on Bonanza. Always a bad baddie who acts good.
ОтветитьArchie looks different with a mustache. And Gloria looks really different.
Ответить👌✨😎✨👍
ОтветитьBRILLIANT SCRIPT😊
ОтветитьArchie Bunker was my dad 😂
ОтветитьAdam is the cool headed ladies man,Hoss is the heart and soul, Joe is the energy and innocence and Ben is the rock of Gibraltar.
ОтветитьWatching these shows one doesn’t feel like their wasting their time or escaping from reality but they feel more enriched because of it. And from that state of mind you can improve your life.
Ответитьbonanza 🔥🔥
ОтветитьRedhead
ОтветитьOne of the very best episodes of all. Powerful, credible, and satisfying story.
ОтветитьThe episodes where Adams cool and collected way of thinking is needed....he is nowhere to be found.....ah he finally made it. Adam was an underrated character.
ОтветитьSlow with pond
ОтветитьLove Bonanza.
ОтветитьAdam to the rescue 😊
ОтветитьLe agradecere si lo traducen en Español latino.
Ответить"small business disagreement"
sounds like Putin shooting up Ukraine.
Who played Slaten's daughter?
ОтветитьWhat a disgusting ending! The boss is a murderer, so why is he just walking away? An evil message.
ОтветитьAt the Cort house the town Said f u Ben we gona crawdad on u ole Ben gonna gona show em how to be a bull
ОтветитьThis episode was about the whole Cartwright family business. This story was about Karen, such a humble and kind little girl. She strive to struggle and at last she succeed. Storyline is perfect.Amazing show. Western Classics.
ОтветитьI remember when Adam left. The series was never the same. They should of had his character get married and run the lumber mill on the ranch. At one time they said that he was in charge of that,, Joe was working with the cattle.
When Hoss build a house for him and his girlfriend toward the end, they should of done that earlier and had him get married and have kids. The stories this could have made.
After Hoss died, I felt that there should have been a love interest for him who’d he’d get engaged to.
Joe should have slowly took over running the ranch with his fathers help. You could have gotten a lot of shows out of that! The disagreement! Joe trying to bring the Ponderosa and Carson City into the future ways, and Ben clinging on to the past as his fiancé would try to reason with him.
Marauders? Cattle rustlers? Etc. Ben want to fight. Joe wants to talk first. Ben wants to confront all problems head on. Joe wants to talk and seek answers. Bens fiancé is caught in the middle.
Joe would still be a ladies man. Ben would be after him to grow up in that area. Joe would want Ben to keep his place and stay out of Joes private life as now Joe is a man.
The final show, Ben gets married. Joe takes over the Ponderosa. Ben and wife leave for a tour of Europe.
Who would play Bens woman? Anyone?
Spoiler alert: Typical tv program. The whole problem is resolved in the last five mins of the show.
I would have had the Boss reform in the third act. He’d pay off his hired guns. Then they’d leave, and figure that they were promised more. They’d turn on BOTH the Boss and the Cartwrights. It would take some time for someone to realize that it was the hired guns who were attacking the boss and the Cartwrights. Then the two would forgive each other, join together and bring the hired guns to justice.
Interesting but it doesn't make any sense. The fellow who shot Little Joe would be arrested too, maybe all three since acting in concert. Then deputize people to escort the wagons because it's illegal for them to stop people on public roads. I'm expecting the daughter to start the deliveries. Maybe to start a competing business. Let's see.... Say what? The aggrieved shop owners were on the jury? Rather than voting guilty and thus showing that people on the roads can't be shot which would immediately open up the roads to them and other freight companies, they voted to stay subservient to the boss.. Perhaps that's accurate because it sound like a certain voting group that consistently votes against its own interests. Now watch the rates increase again. What will happen when the Cartwrights try to move their own goods? OK. I like that the lead hand trying to score accidentally spills the beans. :) Disappointed in the gunfight. No reason for Hoss's demand to stop just where the gang setup. No reason for the gang to be setup on one side and no reason that everyone misses. For me, it would make more sense. If the Boss stepped out, stopping them and telling them that they cannot go through. Then the goons shoot at the wagon wheel hubs. The Boss tells them to turn around or that wagon will never move again. Then the Cartwrights can make a move to get away and the gunfight begins. I still don't see how the Boss can get away with it or why the Sheriff isn't escorting them. The Boss's statement that it could be anyone is laughable. Finally the girl steps up but it should be the Boss who shoots the foreman to save his daughter. He could miss or wing him, the foreman swings to shoot at who's shooting at him, aims at the boss, but then Little Joe kills the foreman to save the Boss. Wouldn't that be more interesting? So, now why isn't he in jail and the daughter taking over the business? How can she now be all smiles with her father? Happy endings can be nice but this was ridiculous! Well, at least they finally mention some repercussions.
Earlier, I was surprised that the daughter said that classmates in San Francisco knew what her father was doing. Now Ben says that she will be the town's first college graduate. Doesn't make any sense.
Harrison Ford
ОтветитьThese people are chicken. They want results and want Ben to stand up to the guy, but they don't want a hand in changing things. That's the same kind of thinking that got them in this fix to start with.
ОтветитьNever seen this one with Archie bunker in it. Great one.
ОтветитьThank you very much, Grjngo
👍👍
What did we learn? Family first. Good must stand up to evil. There is good and bad in everyone, rich, wealthy, politically connected land owners always win. Good guy with a gun saved everyone from a bad guy with a gun. Ha- little Joe dropped that bad guy.
ОтветитьAfter Adam left, it went down hill for me. I watched to see Hoss. I’ve been watching Bonanza for 57 years.
