ОтветитьBro i think what's app has an data base they use distributed dbms called mnesia😅
ОтветитьJoines are easy in nosql why you say it is hard?
ОтветитьGreat video , it’s like going back to college after 14 years in the industry .. Thanks and keep it up
ОтветитьIntroduction is hilarious, so cool 🤣🤣🤣 The video is elaborate and educative, thank you! 🤩
Ответитьfajny film bracie ..tak trzymaj😌
Ответить"why don't we become optimists as engineers?" most important question ask till date..
ОтветитьGreat explanation! 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks!
nice explanation. now a days very few teachers teaches on the board which is easy to grab a concept at 1st pace
Ответитьyou guys looks the same !!!
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьHey, Gaurav. I appreciate all of the work you put into this series. I had no prior knowledge of system design, but after watching these videos in 3 days, I was able to pass the system design round at a reputable company. I can't thank you enough for this.
Ответитьthanks for the video
ОтветитьThe intro was extra fun😀 and educative
I LOVE IT❤😂
Great video this is.
ОтветитьAwesome sir super clear
ОтветитьSuper clear, thank you so much.
Ответить"Inner join, outer join, left outer join, all the things we didn't read in college" that made me laugh 🤣
ОтветитьThe plot of this video is dope 🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьAfter creating SST, in which cluster entire table will be inserted. There might be a case where SST contains data which belongs to different cluster as per hash function.
ОтветитьThe later part should be how a modern distributed database works - not much to do with NoSQL.
ОтветитьThank you Gaurav. Very good content
As usual youu are amazing☺
Bro you should upload 1 min or 30 sec separate video of that intro clip which discusses Difference between NOSQL & SQL!! It is great🤣🤑
Ответитьnice video
ОтветитьClear and Crisp as always :) I started adding your name by default when I google a specific topic :)
I though have a query regarding aggregations, you mentioned that NOSQL DBs are built for them, giving an example of finding average age of people. But later while mentioning the disadvantages of NOSQL DBs, you said that the reads are slow quoting the same thing, like if we need to get the age, they need to get the whole block and filter out the age and hence its time consuming. This sounded a bit contradicting to me, can you please clarify?
Thanks Gaurav ! Quorum: सदस्यों की वह न्यूनतम संख्या जिसके होने पर ही बैठक में निर्णय लिए जा सकें !
Ответитьsome music would have made the intro skit a lot more fun
Ответить"all the things that we didnt study in college"
Ответитьfirouzja
Ответитьthe editing in the first 2 mins was on point!
ОтветитьThis video would be better if he didn't spend the first third contradicting himself. First, no SQL is good for data aggregations, but then it is bad for it because they are slow on reading. Then he goes on to say they are slow on update which he says means slow on insert and delete. So wtf, they are slow on everything? I thought one of the main selling points was they were faaaaaast.
ОтветитьThe cute double role in the beginning gets me in his videos!
Ответитьwhere can i brush that little math needed for load balancing
ОтветитьI know this isn't what this video is really about, but is it a good idea to store "name" as a single value in SQL? I'm a novice programmer and I've been taught to split them up into first and last name as part of the normalization process.
Ответитьawesome man!
Ответитьvow are your videos always so fun.Dont know how I got to know this channel to late
ОтветитьAwesome explanations !!! Thank yoy
ОтветитьGreat video.
It helps a lot to understand the system design concepts. Can you please make a video on how node and react use event-driven architecture?
solid intro
ОтветитьHey Gaurav,
Great video and kudos to your teaching skills. As always very easy to understand 😊
video title should be Cassandra introduction
ОтветитьListen guys... this way of classifying a database as either "SQL" or "NoSQL" is meaningless.
The relational datamodel is pretty well defined, but there are countless of non-relational databases each with their own datamodel and consistency guarantees. It's meaningless to lump them all into 1 category and talk about them as if there were all MongoDB.
can you do relationships (one to one , one to many etc) in NoSQL?
Ответитьis it true whatsapp doesn't have database? how is that possible? or is it a joke which i don't get?
Ответить"Inner join, outer join all the things that we didn't read in college" haha
ОтветитьGaurav....you are just awesome. What a great skill you have. Thank you.
