#1 boondocking safety advice: identify and stay away from drunks, individual or worse in a group.
ОтветитьThanks
Ответитьgood way to address the fire arm topic.
ОтветитьAs someone who dispersed or primitive camps on a regular basis, I really like your opinion on firearms usage while doing so. You just got yourself a new follower.
ОтветитьI’ve had all four tires slashed while I was out fishing. Apparently I was fishing in someone’s spot.
Another buddy of mine had his SUV broken into while he was out hiking. They took all his gear.
I’ve had a pair of Sheriff’ deputies stop my group while hiking, and we were warned to make sure we carried a side arm while out in the Sierra’s hiking… “There’s very strange things happening out here.”
They advised us to at least carry a big knife. I carry a hiking stick.
So bear spray them or it and beat them or it to death with a bat.......get proficient with a firearm, plane and simple.
ОтветитьI've lived like this for years and the most important things are 1. Situational awareness and 2. ALWAYS carry a gun! Can't go wrong and you shouldn't have a problem..
ОтветитьGod made man. Samual colt made man equal.
ОтветитьI disperse camp all the time and have problems often. From drunks making loud noises around a bonfire to trash being thrown all over the place to crazy meth heads. Heads up...
ОтветитьHornet spray works just as good as Bear spray and is cheaper.
ОтветитьIf no one is around you, no one is around them. They should be afraid that no one will hear them scream or see them bleed.
ОтветитьI'm packin' when camping. God created us all equal, but Glock makes us more equal. I've never been in a situation that I've regretted having a handgun concealed on my person. It's easily accessible and you can't put it in the bottom of of your backpack and expect to get to it quickly enough to save your life.
ОтветитьA gun is a necessity, a tool, it serves it's purpose successfully if never touched. Gun safety CCW training, the 4 things you should remember, 1. Run get away, 2. run get away, 3. run get away, 4. Defend. Then again a gun is better used in defense when there is practice.
ОтветитьI would never go camping without a gun.
ОтветитьIf you’re going to carry a gun don’t forget the shovel. You can’t count on the justice system nowadays
ОтветитьWell said Donnie.
ОтветитьWhen I camp alone, I like to go off-trail to avoid people. I always have bear spray, an air horn, and a firearm that I am very well trained to use. I carry all three with the knowledge that I don't have to worry about anything attacking me. I also carry a first aid kit with plenty of necessities for emergencies. If I didn't have these things, I'd always be worrying... the very thing I went solo camping to avoid. Peace and quiet are what I seek, not worry.
ОтветитьCalifornia bound
ОтветитьI have 3 gun's. .22 45 and a 500 ragging bear
ОтветитьIt's not silly at all to have a firearm. Against greater odds there's only 1 equalizer.
