Great movie.
Brought perspective to what I had read before. We are having a Bible reading in church this January where we will be reading the whole of the Bible in 40-50 days and we read the book of Ruth yesterday. Even tho I had read that book before, I had not had the kind of yearning I had to just look for a documentary on the life of this great woman as I did yesterday.
I got back from church today and came online to search and I found this. Thank you so much for putting this together to bless souls. God bless you richly. I’m truly blessed by this.

I loved this love story from the Bible ❤ Of Ruth and Boas . I’m a widow too for 2 1/2 years now. This was very heartwarming to me. Wonder when “ my Boas “ will find me ❤

The story stays closely to the Bible, a❤❤❤nd artfully embellish when appropriate to "flesh out" Ruth, one of the greatest heroines of our Bible. Ruth, Naomi and Boaz come to life in this magnificent film that any Christian or Jew will savor! Kudos for bringing us this masterpiece!

What if Ruth had listened to Naomi? She wouldn't have experienced her miracle or breakthrough from God that she received. That is why it is imperative to only choose to follow God's voice, listen to Him and Him alone, and obey.

Boaz is a type of Jesus Christ and Ruth is type of Gentile church. Jesus came to redeem us from sin by paying his own life on calvary as Boaz did for ruth. Its my story too. I LOVE IT WITH ALL MY HEART .When i get into Heven . I want to meet boaz and ruth and want to talk with them about it.

The book of Ruth is one of my favorites and is overflowing with so many positives; both the character of the people and God's providence and grace. This movie, however, is one of the cheesiest productions I've ever seen and is not worthy of that great story of redemption. Here's hoping The Chosen folks do it right someday.

That is stupid to make out like David didn't know that being anointed by the oil and proclaimed king by the Prophet Samuel would be a fact and they have written into the script that he is wondering if it will be true!! Why do people always RE-Write the bible instead of writing the stories as they ocured in the bible. The rest of the story was pretty good and fairly in line with the bible but this part about David is dumb writing.
