Hie how are you l have got my toyota allex with 1NZ fe engine when l start the engine when its cold it runs and switches off but when you start the engine pressing the accelerator it runs but it will be misfiring but when the engine is now hot it normalizes it wont be doing what it will be doing when the engine is cold what could be the problem could it be the oxygen sensor

Scotty if you see this would love your thoughts, the CE light came on for emissions problems which then came back to an o2 sensor, but disappeared after about 3-4 cycles of running the car. It's done this twice now and i'm just wondering what could cause an o2 sensor code but just go away 2 days later. The first time was about two months ago and it did it again after i changed the oil this past Wednesday

My 04 Tacoma doesn’t show check engine but when I scan it , shows code P0031..

Old bolts shear off or get rust welded so they won’t budge. The job is simple the process needs Zen.

Hey Scotty, is it possible that a bad O2 sensor cause a misfire? I have occasional misfires in cylinders 4 and 7 and already checked normal stuff for a misfire (coils, spark plugs, MAF sensor, Acceleration body, etc), I have a coyote Gen 1 engine, thanks for the vids!

Bought the family car from my dad for $300.00 I thought I was getting a deal. Next morning I see the car is missing and ask Dad what's going on. He opens the garage door and there is a newly built table covered in new parts, a Chilton's Mechanics guide open to rebuilding the motor and a hydraulic lift to remove it. "Follow the step by step instructions and only ask if you don't understand what it means."
Took me a month, did it all by myself . He showed me how to do a three angle valve job and to port and polish the heads. Also an automatic transmission from a truck and the rear axle with the overdrive.

It's because I watch your videos, I'm not a mechanic but it helps a lot when I talk to my mechanics whenever I visited for a repair. Just like today, I know that my oxygen sensor is bad so I need to buy a new one and have my mechanic replace it for me, but before doing so, I have to re-watch this video because you know.... knowledge is power!
