Bird and mchale made fools of every team who saw things in color. I was a fool back then for a little while. But i soon realized in thier prime if it werent for MAGIC no one would beat them. Hakeem is an all time great no doubt and the rockets had an outstanding team but i am telling you he was not better than bird and only athletically better than Mchale. You put bird and Mchale together hakeem was not that guy. Leave that to MAGIC or of course JORDAN and PIPPEN later in thier careers. Just LOOK at the season by season and how great that team (celtics) was that seven year run.. Know one admits it but the celt team taught a lot of players how to play team defense and offense back then.
ОтветитьMike Gorman and Tommy have been annoucing games forever!
ОтветитьEverybody knows what he’s gonna do, and yet nobody can defend him. That’s how good he is at posting up his opponents.
ОтветитьNotice no wasted motion or too many dribbles.
First establishe position call for ball and within a couple of secs his shot was up.
All bigs today need to do this.
Also notice gets doubled and still scores.
In today’s game not only would it be easier to score.
But if the double came the player should kick to a wide open shooter to make them stop doubling.
Either way pick you’re poison.
A big in today’s game using his version of Mchale’s quick scoring should average
25-30 points with 5 assists
This would also eliminate a lot of fast breaks
Because a lot of 3’s lead to long rebounds which ignite fast breaks.
Torture chamber
ОтветитьTo me, he's a perfect power forward. Something that is lost in today's game.
ОтветитьEveryone says Isaiah should of been on the dream team what about Kevin.
ОтветитьHe was unstoppable then, in today’s NBA , even more.
ОтветитьHe was ALWAYS in traffic...
ОтветитьNo one talks about his touch. As great as those moves are, those are not easy shots to make.
ОтветитьIm 48 and I never knew how great he was
ОтветитьEmbid needs to watch this video lol.
ОтветитьIf Mchale played today, coach would be like: Hey kid! You're a ball stopper and those post moves are only two points. Learn to shoot 3's in the corner or you will never make it in league.
Ответить"The torcher chamber"
ОтветитьBarkley said McHale was the best player he ever faced. I forget how clueless Barkley was defending McHale. Lol You put a 6'5 forward on McHale and it's all over
ОтветитьEvery highlight I'm just like "umph" 😖
ОтветитьToo bad he's a Trump supporting hateful piece of shit
ОтветитьThe double team is pretty useless ...
ОтветитьWithout a broken foot , Celtics and Lakers would both have 4 Championships in the 80’s
ОтветитьHe was Abusive
ОтветитьThis is beyond elite level of post moves, only he and Hakeem does this.
ОтветитьHe was olajuwon before olajuwon
ОтветитьThey called it “The Torture Chamber” down on the block when Mchale got the ball. Imagine him and Olajuwon on the same team?!
ОтветитьAnytime bird give mchale the ball he would just start walking back to his own half....
ОтветитьI swear McHale could shoot one in from his back pocket. The angles he used were impossible to defend. Great footwork and a deadly spin move.
ОтветитьWe're gonna double team you McHale. Oh yeah, watch this, spin, and it's in, now which one of you fools is getting called for the foul LOL
Ответитьgame
ОтветитьBi11 Russell: "trying to hold McHale when he's posted up is like trying to hold water in your hand"
ОтветитьI tell many of the young kids I coach that if they ever want to model someone’s post game...they better go look at Kevin McHale. Hard to say it as a long-time Laker fan but you gotta call a spade-a-spade! The best low post moves in history.
Ответить"Inside McHale, Kevin wants it"
I really need to get my mind out of the gutter.
I’ll take this shit over 70 combined threes any day
Ответитьhe would get swatted 75% of the time in today's NBA era of high flyers.
ОтветитьMcHale had the same move every time! LOL!!! Olajuwan was alot more versatile and skilled for sure but McHale was good.
ОтветитьI miss the way basketball use to be played
ОтветитьThe great thing about McHale's offense is that he knew he was a low post player and stuck to being a low post player. He shot very few 3s and had years he didn't take any 3s. McHale knew his game was the low post and stuck to the low post. That's why he led the NBA in FG% in 1987 and 1988 in back to back years shooting .604 each time.
ОтветитьIt was academic once he got the ball in the post.
Little too smart, little too quick for the goons down low.
No flash, no traveling, just incredible fundamentals and probably the best post moves of any player ever.
ОтветитьMost overrated player of all times
ОтветитьAll his moves in the post are basic moves. I don't understand why today's players don't focus on post moves.
Ответитьit is all the same move!!!!!!
ОтветитьMaster of the up and under. No one better.
ОтветитьBy far the best up and under player in the history of the game. He had all the moves too. The hook shot, the turn around jump shot, the finger roll, ball fakes, shot fakes. You can easily make an argument for him being top 5, maybe even #2 all time for pure post player moves. #1 being Hakeem the Dream.
ОтветитьMcHale and Olajuwon = the 2 craftiest post players in league history.
Ответитьmight be greatest ever -- did without offensive fouls travel or carry and highestpoint per shot eer only dantly barkley dawkins and mullin come close literally best scorer ever -- if was gievn 40 shot a game liek big head baylor or slowbe would ahve run at wilt 50 a game avg but wilt also had 28 rebound a game and other stats block steal so wilt whew by overall output is best exept for maybe oscar schmidt rememeber kareem n jordan given all title by refs same as diet jordans and mahoms n wallce in fl and all on roids and porn is literally rubber dick prosthetics all a shoa by mindflayers king and free houses and boot mindflayers and orc n goblin women in harems in west is solution ban corp bank landlord trade immigration use thorium atomic stirling engine and forth cpu n software
Ответитьthere are no positions liek "center" thats all bs
ОтветитьAnyone watching in 2024 does his finishing bag not lowkey remind you of shai?😂
Dude has crazy touch from any angle on the rim and could just maneuver around defenders with his wingspan I definitely see some similarities
I simply don't know how you even stop him in his prime..I didn't see a shot over 12 feet..the hook shot unstoppable..he turned and fell away from either side on either side of the basket..if I was a coach and I had a kid with some size, I would be making him work on these moves constantly.. it's such high percentage shooting
ОтветитьGod of efficiency
ОтветитьKing of the post. Imagine how incredible he would have been if he had developed the Left hand more...
Ответить
